NICHOLAS' POV
I handed out the phone to Ava and gestured her to leave the room which she immediately complied to.
"Who is Laura?" Diana asked curiously but I didn't want to tell her the truth for now because I didn't want anything to come between us now that we are just making up.
"Uhmm...it's one of my staff, you shouldn't bother yourself about it." I replied and to end the conversation, I quickly pulled her attention to a picture of her which I had drawn before.
"How do you like this?" I asked and even though it seemed like she had a question to ask, her attention was quickly drawn to the picture as she never expected me to have seen her in that dress or environment before.
Her face suddenly turned very sad as she traced her hand on the picture. "Did you follow me out of the palace that day?" She asked, not taking her eyes off the picture.
"I just happened to be out of the palace and I came across you." I replied sincerel

DIANA'S POV I paced about the room in anger as I thought about how I was left when they both discussed the matter.
