Episode 9

Gracie's POV

I groaned at the banged on my cell gate, interrupting my sleep. I sat up on the hard bed and rubbed my eyes, trying to clear the sleep from them. My cell neighbour, a young woman named Lily, who was brought into the cell next to mine the previous night, stirred in her sleep beside me. I wondered what the guard could possibly want this early in the morning.

The main cell gate burst open, and a guard menacingly, accompanied by Jay, my friend and the only person who had shown me any kindness since my arrival. Jay was a fellow guard, and we had become quite close over the past few days since his kind visist the other day.

"Gracie, the Lycan King has ordered you to join the group of army at the pack compound for training." Jay said, looking at me with concern.
