Highest bidder

Jerri's POV

~~~~~~
As I was lounging in my opulent mansion, enjoying the luxury of my wealth and power, one of my guards burst in, dragging behind him a pitiful excuse of a man. It was Gracie's father, the man who had come to sell his own daughter into slavery.
I raised an eyebrow in amusement as I regarded the trembling man before me. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Mr Grey!" I drawled lazily, swirling the glass of wine in my hand.
Mr Grey stuttered and stammered, clearly intimidated by my presence. "M-My Lord, I-I have a proposition for you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
I leaned back in my chair, crossing one leg over the other. "Oh? And what could you possibly have that you think I would want?" I asked, my tone dripping with condescension.
The man took a deep breath before blurting out his request. "My daughter, Gracie. She's a werewolf, but her abilities have been cloaked by someone I know not. I can no longer afford to keep her and take care of her, so I'm looking to sell her to the highest bidder," he said, his voice shaking with desperation.
"Yes, I know about that. And that's why you're in the first place." I raised an eyebrow in interest. A werewolf without her abilities…? That's interesting! It was a rare find, indeed. "And how much are you looking to sell her for?" I asked, my eyes glinting with avarice.
Grey hesitated for a moment before naming his price. It was a low amount, but I knew that I could easily manipulate the man into lowering it even further.
"Is that all?" I scoffed, taking a sip of my wine. "You do realize that your daughter is worthless without her abilities, right?"
He looked crestfallen, but I could see the greed in his eyes. "I-I understand, but I have no other choice," he said.
I smirked, leaning forward in my chair. "Well, lucky for you, I'm feeling generous today. I'll buy your daughter from you, but at a much lower price than what you're asking for."
The man looked like he was about to protest, but I silenced him with a wave of my hand. "Take it or leave it. It's your choice." I said, my voice cold and calculated.
Grey knew that he had no other choice. He needed the money, and I was his only hope. "I'll take it, Alpha." he said, hurriedly, his voice barely audible.
"Good," I said, standing up from my chair. "Take this man to my accountant and have him receive his payment. And as for you, guard, make sure that the girl is brought to my chambers immediately." I ordered, addressing the guard who had brought in Gracie's father.
As Grey was dragged away, I sat back down in my chair, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over me. Gracie is fully mine from now on, completely and utterly. I would be able to use her as I pleased, and no one would be able to stop me.
I couldn't wait to see the look on her face when she realized the fate that awaited her as the thought of her staying here under my watch, would drench her.
~~~~~~~

As the hours passed, I couldn't help but find myself drawn to Gracie. She was different from the others - less submissive, less willing to bend to my will. And yet, there was something about her that called to me.

I found myself seeking her out, even when I didn't have to. I caught glimpses of her as she went about her tasks, her tiny curves accentuated by the simple dress that she was always wearing. I watched her interact with the other servants, noting the way they seemed to look up to her, despite her lowly status as an Omega.

The cool evening breeze gently caressed my skin, sending shivers down my spine. It was a refreshing feeling, like a wave of calm washing over me. The rustling leaves and distant chirping of birds made me feel at peace, as I took a deep breath and enjoyed the moment. And as I was lounging by the pool with a glass of wine, I saw Gracie approaching. She was carrying a tray of food, her eyes downcast as she walked towards me.

"Your meal, Alpha," she said quietly, setting the tray down beside me.

I noticed that she was avoiding my gaze, and I found myself wanting to see those defiant eyes once again. "Look at me, Gracie!" I commanded.

She hesitated for a moment before raising her head to meet my gaze. I could see the wariness in her eyes, but there was also a hint of something else - desire, perhaps?

"You've been avoiding me," I noted, taking a sip of my wine.

"I… I didn't mean to, Alpha," she stuttered.

I raise an eyebrow, amused by her nervousness. "Relax, Gracie. I'm not going to hurt you," I said, setting my glass aside. "In fact, I find myself intrigued by you."

She looked at me skeptically. "Why?"

"You're different," I explained. "Most of the others here are content to submit to my will. But you… you have a fire in you that I find… so appealing."

Gracie snorts. "You just want to break me, like you've done to everyone else. And I'm sure you'll still do to others yet to come."

I couldn't deny the thrill that her defiance sent through me. "Perhaps," I said, leaning in closer to her. "But maybe… just maybe… you'll be the one to break me instead."

Gracie's eyes widened in surprise, but before she could respond, we were interrupted by a scout rushing in. "Alpha Jerri, there's been an attack on our eastern border. We need you to lead the troops."

I sighed, knowing that duty called. "I must go," I say, rising to my feet. "But we'll continue this conversation later."

Gracie nodded, her eyes following me as I walked to the edge of the pool and dipped my feet into the cool water. I could feel her gaze on me, and I knew that she was admiring my muscular physique.

No one ever resisted me for any reason!

I turned my head to look at her, meeting her gaze with a sly grin.

"Like what you see?" I asked, my voice low and seductive.

Gracie blushed and looked away, but I could see the desire in her eyes. I knew that she wanted me, just as much as I wanted her.

"I don't know what you're talking about," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

I chuckled and moved closer to her, my hand reaching out to brush a strand of hair from her face. She shivered at my touch, and I knew that I was getting to her.

"You're lying," I said, my voice husky. "I can smell your desire, Gracie. You want me, just as much as I want you."

She bit her lip, her eyes flickering to my lips before darting away. I took that as a sign to move closer, my hand slipping around her waist to pull her against me. She gasped at the contact, but I could feel her melting into my embrace.

"I shouldn't be doing this," she said, her voice trembling. "I belong to someone else."

"Belong?" I repeated, a snarl creeping into my voice. "You belong to no one, Gracie. You are your own person, and you can do whatever you want."

I leaned in to capture her lips in a fierce kiss, my tongue exploring the depths of her mouth. She moaned against my lips, her hands gripping my shoulders as she kissed me back with equal fervor.

For a few blissful moments, we were lost in our own little world, consumed by the passion that burned between us. But then, reality came crashing back, and I pulled away from her, breathing heavily.

"No! We can't do this now!" I said, my voice rough with emotion as the sound of the word 'attack' filled my head. "Not yet. Gracie. Soon, you will taste me. I need to attend to pack matters right now!"

She nodded, her eyes dark with desire. I could tell that she was as eager as I was, and that thought sent a thrill of excitement through me, as I walked away.
