Interlude (1.9)

I don't understand what Harvey is trying to say. The urgency of his voice urges me to scream at my brother, "Don't open the door."

But the door is already open. My brother's girlfriend smiles at him. He gives her a goofy grin, "Marie, you are here. I missed you."

I guess I know why my brother gets thrown away by his women. His face looks like a dog who has seen his master. The shine in his eyes is akin to a little innocent child who is ready to do anything to please his best friend or get approved by his kindergarten's teachers. I feel so bad for him.

[Listen, Savina. Don't give her permission to enter the house.]

Harvey's voice is calm with a tensed undertone. Somehow, it makes me uneasy. What's the big deal?

"Kyle." Marie cocks her head and gives him a sweet smile -- that sends a shiver down in my spine. I have never met her before, but I trust the vibes that I get from people.
