Micah’s POV

I nodded, “I remember Dune, but that was in kindergarten.” Zach shook his head, “No. He has been trying to get him to go out with her for the past ten years. Alex and I have been trying to fight him off, but his magic is pretty powerful.” Uncle Nico asked, “Any idea where this guy lives?” Alex shook his head, “No clue. We haven’t been able to follow him anywhere because he teleports away from us.” I asked, “So why haven’t the two of you told me about this? I had a feeling back then that we were going to see him again. That’s why I have spent my entire life concentrating on my warlock side. I have been strengthening my magic all this time too.” Alex asked, “Can you teleport?” I shrugged, “I’ve never been shown how. Dad has been the one training me. Maybe I should get King Billy.” Zach and Alex laughed, “That doesn’t matter now. Dune was really powerful the last time we saw him. The only reason he got away then was because Adele kicked his ass. As soon as he was down, we got her away from him. He tried to pull her back with magic, but Adele was able to use wind to get him to lose his concentration and we took off.” I sighed, “Okay. Well, I guess we need to start at her rock.”

I started to go out to the car when I thought, “DUH! I really should shift and run her route.” My brothers and I went behind the tree line, shifted and took off. All three of us are princes, so our wolves are larger than most, so we got to her rock much faster than most would have. When we got there, we sniffed around the ground and I linked them, “I can smell her on the rock, and to the tree line. Then her scent changed a little until she got just outside the tree line. Then magic was used right here.” Alex asked, “How can you tell magic was used?” I shook my head, “Really? You are part warlock too. You can’t feel the electrical energy in this particular spot?” Alex stood in that spot and could feel the hair raise on his neck, “It’s dark magic too.” I nodded in agreement. Zach added, “It feels like he walked alone. I can feel his magic trail. Can you?” I took a few steps in a few different directions and I found it. I found his magic trail. I mind linked Uncle Nico, “We found his magic trail. His scent trail is gone.” Uncle Nico asked, “How far can you detect it?” I replied, “Zach is following it now.” Uncle Nico growled, “I’ll be there in a few minutes. Don’t go too far.”

I linked Zach, “Stop right there. Uncle Nico wants to come with us. He’ll be here in a few minutes.” Zach sighed in frustration, “Dude! We’re wasting time! We need to explore this while we can feel it.” I growled, “Just wait a few minutes. It’s not going to kill us.” We only had to wait five minutes until Uncle Nico, grandpa, grandma, and around twenty warriors showed up. I chuckled, “So much for keeping a low profile. Zach is already on the trail. We can just follow him.” We watched as Zach followed the trail to an old house that was close to the waterfall. I linked him, “Be careful, Zach. This feels like a trap.” Zach sighed, “I know. I’m not going in the house. The trail goes around to the back of the house.” We walked around the house and into the forest behind it. As we continued on, I started feeling massive amounts of dark energy. I linked everyone, “The dark magic is getting very strong. I think we should call dad and then get the alliance involved. This is expanding to more than one dark warlock. In the meantime, I need to meet with Billy. I really need to learn how to teleport.” Grandpa linked, “I think he’s right. It’s starting to get dark now too. We aren’t going to find much in the way of evidence now.” Uncle Nico gave the command to go home and we all headed that way.

When we got home, we all shifted and changed, then we walked into the house. I took a shower and went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of sweet tea. I sat at the table and waited for everyone else. Almost on cue, as soon as everyone, including Uncle Nico, was around the table, my phone rang. It was my dad. Shit. This is not going to be fun. I sat the phone on the table and I answered on the third ring, “Hey dad. What’s up? How’s mom?” I put the phone on speaker as Dad answered, “Your mom is okay. We are both worried about Adele. She hasn’t called your mom for a couple days and she isn’t answering her phone. Do you guys know what’s going on?” I sighed, “I don’t know, dad. Maybe she is just engrossed in her studies.” Dad argued, “You know she would take a few minutes to call your mom. What the hell are you boys trying to hide from us?” I answered after taking a deep breath, “Dad, she’s missing. We found her motorcycle, but she’s nowhere to be found.” Dad immediately started yelling, “Why didn’t you call us sooner? What happened?” I sighed, “Dad, I have you on speaker. I have Alex, Zach, grandma, grandpa, and Uncle Nico here. Grandpa can explain what happened.” Grandpa explained, “Yesterday evening, Adele went for a run. I had two warriors protecting her, but she outran them. They were the same warriors who always accompany her, so they knew where she was headed. When they got to her rock, she was gone. Her scent ended just outside the tree line closest to her rock.” I added, “We rescheduled our last finals and hers then came home and followed her trail. Zach found a dark magic trail.” Dad immediately growled, “Dune!” I gasped, “Dad! How is it possible that everyone knew about him continuing to bother her except me?!” Alex put his hand on my shoulder, “We all knew that you would go after him by yourself. Our family has never done that. We will always handle the tough stuff as a team.” Dad asked, “I thought I heard her try to mind link me earlier.” I replied, “She tried to mind link me too, but it sounded like she was on a bad cell signal. Uncle Nico and Alex say she’s been given wolfsbane.” Dad growled, “I can’t take this. We are teleporting down there.” I asked, “If you are calling Queen Winnie, can you ask her to bring Billy? I need to learn how to teleport. Apparently, this is how he is moving around.” Dad sighed, “Okay. We may be bringing in the alliance too. We need to find out where she is.”

In a matter of minutes, mom, dad, Queen Winnie and King Billy were standing in the living room. We all moved from the table to the living room and dad approached me, “What gave you the idea that keeping this from us was a good idea?” I held up my hands in surrender, “Dad, we were trying to give her a chance to fight her way out and come back. You know how she is. You know she would rely on us to rescue her last. She’s a trained fighter and she knows how to use her omega waves well.” Mom agreed, “Luke, that’s exactly how she is. They were right to wait, but I wonder how long they were going to wait.” I sighed, “We were sitting around the table so that I could call you.” Mom winked at me, “That’s the right answer.”

I laughed, “That’s the truth. When we followed the magic trail, we started feeling the dark magic get stronger as we went. We followed as far as we could without being discovered. We knew that if we could feel them, they can feel our presence.” Billy nodded, “You were right about that. I have a feeling Dune took her to the main house. It’s highly fortified with a lot of Dark Warlocks.” I asked, “How are we going to get in there to get her out?” Billy sighed, “I think I might know, but we need to figure out what’s going on first.” Zack asked, “How are you going to find out what’s going on?” Billy replied, “We need to follow the trail first. I think I have an idea, but I need to know what we’re dealing with first.”

I asked Billy, “While we are trying to get to the trail, would you mind showing me how to teleport? I really need to know in case the asshole tries to teleport away from me. He’s already done it with these two.” I pointed at my brothers and growled at the idea of them keeping everything from me. Billy smiled, “That’s easy. Just picture where you want to go and concentrate all of your magic into that spot. We will meet you there.” I stood up and imagined the rock at the foot of the waterfall. I closed my eyes and concentrated on that area until all of the sounds of the house disappeared and they were replaced with the sounds of the waterfall. I opened my eyes and I was there! Sweet!

I turned around and saw everyone else. Billy chuckled, “It’s about time you made it.”

  • The Warlock's Wrath   Epilogue

My quadruplets are five years old now and we have added five more children to the family since then. We had a set of triplets when the quad was two, and then a set of twins last year. To say I have been busy would be an understatement. My triplets, Eddie, Cade and Damien are quite the handful. I’ve tried to get Sebastian to intervene, but he just says, “They’re just boys.” My twins, Allie, short for Allison, and Emma turned one today. We had a huge playground installed at the castle and our kids just love it. We are giving all the kids in our children’s age groups the day off from training so we can celebrate the twins’ birthday. As we watched all the kids play, Joshua asked, “Mom, does the quad have to be here?” I laughed because all the kids in our quad are way more intelligent and mature than they should be. By the time they were three all four of them knew how to read and were highly skilled on the computer. I sighed, “But don’t you want to wish the twins a happy birthday?” He ga

Sebastian and I have been officially on the throne for three months and I am now miserably pregnant. My belly is absolutely huge and Sebastian loves watching me waddle everywhere I walk. I, on the other hand, seem to be nesting. I got all of the blankets for our little ones crocheted and I have been doing a lot of extra cleaning lately. I was cleaning the bathroom when Sebastian reminded me, “Babe, we have staff that do that. You don’t need to. If you want to do something for the babies, why don’t you crochet some more stuff. You could make little booties or hats for them. I smiled, “I think you’re right. Thank you.” I grabbed some yarn and a hook and sat down on the couch. I got up almost immediately and started walking away. Sebastian asked, “What’s wrong?” I sighed, “I have to pee… again.” He chuckled, “It’s almost over, babe.” I smiled, “I know.” I got to the bathroom and felt a gush of water. I knew I hadn’t peed, then looked down at the puddle under my feet. I walked back to the

When Sebastian and I got to the hall entrance the doors were closed and they were waiting for everyone to take their places. While we waited, I looked around us. There was a man behind Sebastian who was highlighted in red. With one hand, I conjured a dagger of ice. Just as he was raising is hand with a dagger of his own, I threw my dagger at him and it pierced his eye and went into his brain. He instantly fell backward, dead. Sebastian looked at me, surprised, “Was it a highlighted one?” I chuckled, “He was literally seconds from plunging a dagger into your back. I’m just glad I saw him.” He smiled, “I’m glad you did too.” Just then, the doors opened and we locked arms. I guess I was gripping his arm a little tighter than I meant to because he mumbled, “You are cutting off the circulation to my hand, love. Relax.” I chuckled as I loosened my grip on his arm, “Sorry, babe.” He chuckled, “No problem.” When we got to the stage, we walked up the steps and stood in front of King Quincy and

I woke up the next morning with my first thought being, “Holy shit! Today is Coronation Day!” I didn’t even take a second to stretch before jumping out of bed and practically running to the bathroom to take a shower. After taking my shower, I went to our closet and put on a sundress until it was time to get ready for the event. I went to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee and sat in my favorite chaise lounge chair by the windows. I hadn’t been there long when my mom walked in. She poured a cup of coffee for herself and sat at the other end of my chair looking out the windows, “Are these the same kind of windows we have?” I nodded, “Yep. I like the idea of me seeing out, but no one can see in.” Mom agreed, “I always liked that too. Are you ready for your crowning ceremony?” I smiled, “I am. I was nervous at first, but Queen Lori told me that I’ve been doing the duties of a queen since I got here.” Mom laughed, “Being a queen is no different than being a luna. You are the moth

We spent more time than we originally planned in town and we had so much fun. After more baby shopping, Sebastian took me to a bakery that also sold ice cream. I ordered a jelly donut and a scoop of cherry ice cream, while Sebastian went with the classic apple turnover with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I reveled in the taste of my sweet treat and Sebastian laughed at me. I shrugged, “What? It’s good.” I filled a fork full of it and held it to his lips. He took a bite and smiled, “I guess you’re right. I never thought of that combination.” I smiled, “Now, I just need to learn how to make jelly filled donuts. I already know how to make the regular ones.” His eyes went wide, “You know how to make donuts?” I laughed, “I do. Would you like those for breakfast tomorrow?” He replied, “Probably not tomorrow. We should eat in the dining room tomorrow morning with it being coronation day and all the guests we have coming.” I looked at my phone and gasped, “Guests! My family is probably at the c

  • The Warlock's Wrath   Chapter 116

I woke up this morning, stretching and enjoying the sunlight streaming into our room. We have been moved into our wing of the castle for almost a full week and I have been thoroughly enjoying being able to cook for my mate. Once in a while we invite his parents over for dinner, just to see how they like being out of the castle and to consult with them on small issues. I got out of bed and headed to our kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. I moved to the chaise lounge by the window and sat there, looking outside, while I drank my coffee to wake up for a bit. As I sat there, I had to think about everything that needed to be done today. It’s the day before our coronation, so my family will be here today. I’m so excited to see them. As busy as I have been, I still miss them. I finish my first cup of coffee and sigh as I get out of my chair. I went to the kitchen and started making the biscuits for breakfast. As soon as they were cut out, I started making the sausage and bacon. When the sausa
