It had been a week since Fareeda and Alexander began staying in the palace. Fareeda was shocked at the change. Everyone was always offering to do something for her. Once a young lady even asked if she could help her bathe and dress. Fareeda was shocked at that and she rejected the offer. Her mother in law, Queen Anna, was still showing how things work around in the palace and she was keeping her company. It was nice to be with a lot of people. Alexander saw the look of discomfort make it’s way to Fareeda’s face again as he helped her into the carriage. He was beginning to get worried. “My love, are you sure you don’t want to rest today? I can sense your discomfort and I do not want anything happening to you,” Alexander said to her. “No Alexander I am fine. Thank you for caring for me. I love you,” she said sweetly caressing his face. “Let me make sure everyone else is prepared,” he said kissing her hand before he left. Fareeda took a deep breath tightening her arm around her swollen belly. She had only gotten little sleep throughout the night as the pain continued frequently. She shrugged it off as nothing though.
