It was exactly seven days after the birth of Farrah. The Assan tribe was in great joy as they prepared for the feast of her birth and naming. Fareeda stood beside Alexander as they watched her father, Bakir, King Aladdin and Queen Anna gushed at Farrah who was sleeping peacefully.
“She already has them wrapped around her little fingers. Your father especially he would do anything she demands,” Fareeda murmured to him.
“Yes, she does. How could not she?” Alexander said thinking about how she also had him too.
“It has only been a week yet I miss your touch,” Fareeda whispered to him now.

The Warrior’s Bride Fareeda wondered what all the noise was at the front of the cabin. She hoped her father had not upset the neighbours again. He always seemed to be looking for trouble everywhere, maybe that was the real reason nobody came for her hand, who knew? He would always blame it on her instead. She gathered the remaining seeds in the little basket and made her way inside. The Warrior’s Bride. Fareeda walked out of the room slamming the door so it made a loud sound. She passed the back door and sat outside as she tried to stop her tears. He could see the tension between both his sons, but he was glad Alexander was ignoring his spoiled son. They were a few months apart, but Alexander still showed signs of being the older one.
