Chapter Twenty-Nine.
Alexander saw the look of discomfort make it’s way to Fareeda’s face again as he helped her into the carriage. He was beginning to get worried.
“My love, are you sure you don’t want to rest today? I can sense your discomfort and I do not want anything happening to you,” Alexander said to her.
“No Alexander I am fine. Thank you for caring for me. I love you,” she said sweetly caressing his face.
“Let me make sure everyone else is prepared,” he said kissing her hand before he left.
Fareeda took a deep breath tightening her arm around her swollen belly. She had only gotten little sleep throughout the night as the pain continued frequently. She shrugged it off as nothing though.

The Warrior’s Bride Fareeda wondered what all the noise was at the front of the cabin. She hoped her father had not upset the neighbours again. He always seemed to be looking for trouble everywhere, maybe that was the real reason nobody came for her hand, who knew? He would always blame it on her instead. She gathered the remaining seeds in the little basket and made her way inside.
