“What the hell do you mean she's here?” Lincoln asked, his heartbeat quickening.

“We were surprised too.”

“We? Who's we?” He asked.

“Your father and me?” Rahim answered.

“Dad didn't go to church?”

“Nah.” Rahim answered, “Neither did your mom or Ana. They're all downstairs having breakfast, so your dad called for you.”

“Oh, alright.” Lincoln replied, “I'll be down there.”

He shut the door, his heart slamming in his chest.

Fuck! Why the hell is she here? He wondered, walking over to the bed to pick up his phone. She didn't even text me or…

He broke off when he saw the text message Evie had sent this morning, then he raked his hand through his hair.

“Goddamn it!” He muttered under his breath, taking off his clothes. He ran into the shower and took a quick bath.

Then he got dressed in an open-neck shirt and cargo shorts.

He exited the room and silently walked down the hallway.

He could hear Evie's cheerful laughter filling the room as she conversed with his father.

“An amusement park?” “Isn't it fun?” Evie asked cheerfully, clutching his arm tightly so that they rub her boobs, “I think we should also have fun together, not always talking about our marriage and all that. You get what I mean?” Lincoln stood and watched as people entered the amusement park. One would never believe it if they're told that Lincoln Smith, the son of the legendary Harry Smith, one of the smartest, most famous, richest business tycoons in California had never been to an amusement park since the day he was born, despite all the wealth he enjoys… or not. His father has been training him from a very young age, making sure he is the absolute perfect in everything he does. So, Lincoln never had the time to HAVE FUN like kids his age. As he stared at the entrance, his inner kid submerged and he couldn't feel more glad and grateful towards Evie. He was so overjoyed that he lost himself in the moment and hugged her. “Oh!” “Thanks for bringing me here, Evie,” He muttere

  • The Way He Looks At Me    Strange Tingling Sensation

Rahim sat silently in the car, his heart pounding against his chest. Okay, Rahim, you've got this. He told himself. You've got this. Don't act unprofessional like last time. Don't blush. Don't get flustered. Don't flinch when you make physical contact with her. Don't look at her in the eye. You can do this. Here they come. He straightened up as soon as he saw Lincoln step out of the mansion with Evie in his arms. He heaved a deep sigh and stepped down from the car, then opened the door for them. Lincoln and Evie halted before him. “Rahim, can I talk to you for a second?” Lincoln asked. “Sure,” Rahim replied. The two friends stepped away from Evie. “What's up?” Rahim asked. “Can you do me a favor?” “What is it?” “She doesn't want you driving us to our dates anymore,” Lincoln announced. “What?” Rahim gaped at him. “Yes, she wants it to be just us.” “But bro, you know that your father requires my presence on your dates just so things can go well,” Rahim explained. “Yes, I

  • The Way He Looks At Me    Wishing It Was All A Dream

Lincoln sat inside the car and watched as his father and Felix Burns said their goodbyes. The day has eventually come to an end and all Lincoln wanted was to go home and throw himself on top of his bed and wish everything that happened today was just a dream... or a nightmare. They were still saying their goodbyes when Ethan walked over to the car. His heart did a somersault as he saw him coming. Ethan halted by the window and bent his neck, “You have a date with Evie, tomorrow, right?” Lincoln quickly nodded, “Remember my warning. Act aloof and uninterested. I'll be watching. Got it?” Again, Lincoln quickly nodded, avoiding Ethan's eye. Saying he was now terrified of him was an understatement. Ethan stared at him for a while. Then Harry Smith shook hands with Felix Burns and began to walk to the car. “See you soon, Sir,” Ethan said, shaking hands with Harry. “See you later, son.” Harry got into the car, and so did the chauffeur who had been standing outside all along. He

  • The Way He Looks At Me    Deadly Warning & Second Rejection

Lincoln sat still on the passenger seat, still trembling from his discovery as Ethan drove out of the woods. He has stopped apologizing or seeming like he regretted what he did and was sorry. So Lincoln figured he had switched back from his nice personality to his psychopathic personality. “I reckon you've figured it all out,” Ethan said slowly, his voice a sound that set Lincoln's teeth on edge. “About my split personalities. Breathe a word of this to anyone and I make your life more miserable than it already is.” Lincoln gulped. He instinctively knew Ethan wasn't playing! He was dead ass serious! “We’re bound by a contract,” Ethan went in, “You play your role by not engaging with my sister. I keep your secret and anytime, anywhere I need a fuck, you come over and I fuck you. That's all. Till Evie breaks the engagement.” Lincoln stayed silent. “Got it?” Lincoln flinched, “Y-yes,” He stammered, his fist trembling on top of his lap. Split personalities? How is it even possib

  • The Way He Looks At Me    Bad Idea

Ana was drowning herself in the pool of regret, embarrassment and pain as she lay down on her bed and stared up at the ceiling. Her mind kept wandering off to Arthur no matter how hard she tried not to think about him. What came over me last night? She wondered in regret. I literally just embarrassed myself. I don't think I can face him again. Not after what happened last night. Going over to his cabin, forcing myself on him… and then… and then kissing him. Her heart fluttered as she thought of the kiss and her hand moved to her lips. That… was my first kiss. She thought. Definitely not how I expected my first kiss to be. Her face burned with embarrassment and she kicked up her feet. “Argh! Ana, what came over you last night?” She asked aloud, “I ended up embarrassing myself and getting rejected at the same time. How can I face him again?” She sat up and then sighed. Last night, her phone and laptop were confiscated by her father as a part of her punishment for her attitude t
