The man's face was now twisted with terror as Lincoln stared at the recording camera.

He opened his mouth to say something but no word could come out.

“What's next?” Lincoln asked with a smirk, “Hmm… let me guess, you gonna find a way to a bugging device on me?”

The man flinched back.

Oh, my God! He knows I'm stalking him? He thought in horror. How on earth did he know? I've always been discreet! I've gotta get outta here!

“Stay away from me!” The man screamed, throwing himself on the floor, thereby attracting the attention of the other customers who quickly turned their heads. “Stay away from me!”

Lincoln stood and watched him.

He was well aware of what he was trying to do and if he kept doing it, someone might eventually pull out a phone and record the whole thing.

So he put the camera back into the see-through bag and then threw it to him.

“Get the fuck out here!”

The man grabbed the bag, scrambled to his feet and then dashed out of the building.

Rahim pulled the car to a halt on the parking lot of the Burns Estate and exhaled silently, his grip tightening on the steering wheel. Lincoln stared at him out of the corner of his eyes and smiled to himself, seeing the beads of perspiration on Rahim's forehead. His instincts told him that Rahim was lying when he said he had gotten rid of his feelings. It's not possible to stop loving someone within the space of just five days. Or is it? Lincoln made it his mission to come up with a way to make sure Rahim spends some time with Evie tonight at this family dinner. Ana was sitting silently at the back with her earphones plugged on, her face a mask of rage and annoyance. She didn't even want to come to this lame ass family dinner in the first place. But being Ana Smith, Harry Smith's daughter, she didn't really had a choice. When had she ever? Lincoln turned to her, “Ana, we're here.” “I'm not blind! I know!” Ana snapped at him before stepping down from the car. Rahim gave L

“You heard me,” Lincoln answered, coming back into the room and shutting the door. “Are you dating your bodyguard?” He repeated the question. “What? No, I'm not.” Ana replied. Lincoln folded his arms across his chest and regarded Ana suspiciously. “You are!” “I'm not!” “You told me you confessed your feelings for him.” “Yeah, I did.” Ana confirmed, “But he rejected me… multiple times.” Lincoln was still not buying what she was saying, “Why?” “He said he has a girlfriend,” Ana responded. “There, I answered. Can you please leave?” “No, I'm not done questioning you.” Lincoln stood his ground. “If you're both not dating, then why do you look so happy?” Ana gave him a puzzled stare. “What do you mean I look so happy? I'm not allowed to be happy or something?” “You know what I mean…” “No, I don't!” Ana spat, now getting extremely frustrated, “My bodyguard and I are not dating! He's an asshole! Can you leave me alone? Seriously, you should be given some sort of an award for the

“We're here,” Rahim announced as he halted the car inside the garage. “Great,” Lincoln muttered under his breath as he stared at the house. Actually, he didn't miss this place… not one bit! Now he has to resume living the way his father wants. “Aren't you getting off?” Rahim asked inquisitively as he stepped down from the car. “Yeah, sure,” Lincoln said and stepped down from the car. Rahim opened the back door and brought out Lincoln's luggage. Together, the two best friends walked into the house. “Hello, Mr Reginald.” Lincoln greeted the butler. “Nice to have you back here, son.” The man responded with a bright smile. Lincoln's mom, Tessa, was coming down the stairs and upon seeing Lincoln, her lips curled up into a happy smile. “Oh, my dear!” She exclaimed, running down the rest of the stairs. “Easy, Mom.” Lincoln warned, “Watch the stairs!” “Oh, come here!” Tessa reached down the stairs and pulled her son into a tight hug. “Mom, you're choking the living daylight out

Lincoln zipped his luggage and dropped it on the floor.Five days have already passed since he gave up on trying to get Ethan to open up to him.And those five days, he and Ethan haven't had a proper conversation, nor did Ethan try to apologize again for his actions… nor have they had sex… which was a surprise for Lincoln. They just co-existed in the same penthouse. When it was time for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Ethan made food for both of them or ordered when he wasn't in the mood to cook, and Lincoln always ate in the room Ethan assigned him.It has been like this for the past five days, and it was now time to go as his one-week staycation was over.Dragging his luggage alongside him, he walked out of the room and found Kim in the living room… it was a surprise that Evie wasn't there.“You're packed already?” Kim asked as she got to her feet.Lincoln nodded, “Yes.”Kim walked towards her and gave her a tight hug, “Thank you, dear, for staying with Ethan through his injury,” She s

“Pudding, please open the door.” Ethan pleaded.“Go away!” Lincoln spat, wiping his tears as he caressed his bruising neck.“Please. Pudding.”“Don't call me that!” Lincoln yelled, “Go away!”“I hope you know that I would never hurt you intentionally.” Ethan stated, “You know that, right?”Lincoln kept mute.“Alright, take this,” Ethan said and slid an ointment into the room through the opening on the door floor. “Please, apply it, hmm? I don't like seeing you get hurt or have an injury.”Lincoln stared at the ointment, then bit his lower lip.“Pudding, I'm sorry.” He heard Ethan apologize once more, “I hope you know I am. I'll be heading out for a while, will be back by dinner.”Lincoln shut his eyes and then exhaled as he heard Ethan move around the house.“I'll be going now,” Lincoln heard Ethan announce, “There's some money on the table in case you get hungry.”And then he heard him walk out of the penthouse. He sighed, then picked up the ointment on the floor, opening it, he pres
