Chapter 24- Jealousy

Ajax reached the movie set where Xenia was getting ready for the shoot. He wanted to surprise her so he hid behind a long curtain. Xenia's manager saw him and wanted to inform her about his presence but he signaled him to keep his mouth mum.

" I am looking terrible," Xenia laughed looking at her reflection in the mirror.

She was wearing a torn shirt and a short. It was a scene about survival. Her face was covered with fake blood and fake bruises. Somehow Xenia felt her look funny. She has no idea that someone was grinning while looking at her.

" Your smile is something that soothes my heart," Ajax whispered.

After that Xenia went to the shooting spot and the director announced action. Xenia started running on a bridge having a terrified expression. Ajax was amazed and proud to see her extraordinary acting skill. As a first-timer, she was doing great.

Ajax's face fell when she was grabbed by her co-actor. He grabbed Xenia by her waist and there was a romantic connection between the
