Lawrence's brows were knitted. "What nonsense are you spouting? How could Sylvie possibly want a divorce? She's still carrying my child!"

Niall said, "It's true. She even asked me to bring you the divorce agreement."

"That's impossible!" Lawrence refused to believe a word Niall said.

Eloise's eyes lit up for a second, but she said with concern, "Sylvie must be really upset this time, Lawrie. She's even drawn up a divorce agreement. You should talk to her and calm her down."

Lawrence sighed softly, agreeing with Eloise. "Sylvie's just throwing a tantrum, Niall. She must've sent you on purpose. That divorce agreement doesn't mean anything. We'll sort out whatever's going on between us ourselves."

Niall didn't sound pleased with that outcome. "But even if she's just upset, wouldn't it be better if you signed it? Eloise is back now, and Sylvie is willing to leave. Sylvie won't stand in the way between you two."
