Vince was worried for Taylor. If what Cole did was not enough to Cole, he cannot imagine what other technique Cole had in mind. Normally, he is not the type to feel pity for traitors but him and Carson communicated through telepathy while Cole worked on Taylor and according to his understanding, Carson tried comparing the pain which Taylor was feeling to something which Vampires could relate with. He compared it to a vampire compelling another one to suffer through blood thirst but there is no relief because no matter how much blood is drunk, the compelled mind would still be thinking he is thirsty. And that can lead to madness when it is done over and over again. Just like how Cole is doing to Taylor.

When they let go of the chains. Tayor collapsed on the ground, not even happing the power to stop his fall. The shifter was not going anywhere soon.
