Chapter 2

THE STRANGE FLOWERS

As all fairies gather at Gardiana for their usual training they had noticed a colourful rainbow that filled a part of Gardiana.The colours were so bright that it attracted the forest animals as they began munching on the leaves and left afterwards.

It made everyone so happy that they decided to go for a relaxation while they sang a song as they all fluttered their wings. Soon after Elvenia and Elena saw what happened and they saw how everyone was filled with happiness and so they joined in and started singing and dancing. Everyone loved it and couldn’t get enough. A message was sent to the queen at Winterfell by a bird about the strange flowers the fairies had found and how colorful they were. The queen called out to her servant’s to get those flowers to her at once.

When two of the queen's servants got to Gardiana they called out to the fairies and asked them to move away because they wanted to get the flowers for the queen. Everyone felt bad because they had really enjoyed playing with them. A voice from no way quickly said “that’s not fair, we can't let you take away the flowers” she said. One of the servants looked at her and smiled saying “my name is Terence a servant, we are just carrying orders from our queen and nothing more” he said. Elena looking into his eye remembered what Elevina said to her about a servant with a golden hair, defined body, pointed nose, blue, piercing eye's and pinkish lips called Terence.

The second servant was called Magnus. He had deep, black hair, green oval eye's, straight pointed nose, a taller body frame and medium pinkish lips. Saying “we are not trying to cause any problems but we were sent by the queen'' he said telling her that they were still going to take the flowers but Terence told Mangus to leave a single flower for the fairies saying this he gave Elena a flirty wink which made Elena's cheek's to turn red as he handed her the flower. Elena blushed, pulling her hair away from her face.

At the center of the crowd Mangus spotted Elvenia and said “Elvenia where have you been? The queen was worried sick about you, you need to follow us back to the castle immediately” he said. Elena turned back immediately looking intensely at Elvenia and said “what do they mean by the queen is worried and wants you home?” she said. With regrets in her eyes she said to Elena “Elena I wanted to tell you the day we met but we were having so much fun that I didn’t want it to end” she said. Yes, what I told you about myself and my powers is the truth but I didn’t tell you all of it. My name is Elvenia, the daughter of the queen of Winterfell. Am sorry I didn't tell you, I hope you’re not angry with me? Elena looked shocked and Lost didn’t know what to say but only looked at her and immediately hugged her which made Elvenia speechless. Elvenia Said “omg I thought you would be so upset with me but am glad your not thanks'' she said Elena said lovenly, of course not, I considered you as my best friend even though you didn’t tell me all about yourself but with the little you told me I could never be made at you. Afterwards, Elevina thanked Mangus for keeping a single flower for the fairies. With a very Big warm hug Elvenia said goodbye, Terence hugged Elena placing a kiss on her hand and flew away with Mangus back to the castle.

THE FLOWER DIES

In Elena's house , After a long day at Gardiana Elena was really exhausted and decided to sleep on time but she couldn’t, rather she flew outside her cottage sitting on the roof and watched the beautiful star’s in the sky. She had thought of those flowers that grew in Gardiana and wondered how they came in the first place. She decided she would take a look at the flower one last time before going to bed hoping to calm her down.

On her way going she heard rusty at a tree bush not so far away, as the noise got closer and closer she found out that it was the same squirrel she had seen at Gardiana and wondered why it was here late at night. She slowly approached the squirrel and as she got closer the squirrel died suddenly. She was so scared and hurried to know what was wrong, as she looked she noticed tiny pieces of the flowers that she saw at Gardiana on the squirrels fur which were already dead. She didn’t want to panic until she made sure what she thought wasn't just an Illusion and wasn’t real so she immediately flew to Gardiana to see the flower.

When she got there she noticed that the flower had turned black and died off , wondering what had caused it she took some pieces of the dead flower wrapping it in a tiny leaf and flew off. The next morning she decided to meet the healing fairy called Aine. She had pink short hair, light green eyes, light pink lips, round small nose and light green wing’s. She was known for her immersed power of healing, portions, magic materials and magic creation of all sorts all over Winterfell. She brought the pieces of the dead flowers and show it to her after analyzing them she said “Oh my I haven’t seen any flower like this before, it looks really strange and different from other flowers I have seen” she said looking at Elena with so much thoughts she told her that the flower is of black magic and had been brought from another kingdom, not from their own.

Elena lost in thought and confusion asked Aine what would happen if any of our kinds get in contact of it and she said “it would lead to us falling sick but with a special portion it can be cured but if it has been in contact with us for long it’s possible that the fairy gets poison or dies” she said immediately Elena remembered the flowers the servant had taken back to the castle to give the queen and immediately flew off hoping is not too late.

THE QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY

It was the 25th day in Winterfell , the queen Aurora birthday celebration was announced all over Winterfell. On this day the whole of Winterfell was covered in beautiful snow. The celebration was held at the queen’s castle as a tradition.

Elena hearing this news was excited to meet Terence and also worried about what Aine had told her. It was time for the queen's birthday celebration , Elena quickly hurried up and flew off to go to the queen’s palace as it was her first time going there. When she arrived she saw a huge tall gate with golden lion’s on both sides. The gate immediately opened and facing her was Terence dressed uniformly for the occasion as he escorted her to the castle.

As she and Terence proceeded to the front door she saw a long trail of rose petals on the ground with flowers and toadstool sculptures standing still, the doors were magnificent, designed with diamonds and rubies. As she kept staring, the door opened and coming in she saw all the beautiful decorations and fairies too who had received the invitation. Terence asked her if she would want anything to take but Elena said no, asking him where Elvenia was. “I haven't seen her for awhile now but you can look for her at the bouquet” he said, giving her a kiss on her cheeks before taking his leave.

Looking around she spotted Elvenia And quickly flew to her, complimenting the castle. They both hugged themselves as Elvenia showed Elena around the castle. After a long exploration of the castle they decided to take a rest, Elena got lost at some point and Elvenia asked her saying “what Is the matter? You have been looking so lost” she said Elena smiled and told her that everything was fine and that she was just deep in her thoughts. A bell rang announcing that the queen was coming out. As the fairies waited patiently for their queen to arrive. The queen came out dressed in a blue Long gown, with an emerald necklace , diamond ice earrings and Long , curly , golden hair. She was as beautiful as the night sky and filled with admiration.

Soon after the announcement the party started and everyone all danced apart from Alena who sat beside the corner of a long table getting lost in her thoughts. Elvenia sat next to her asking her what the problem was, at first Elena was not ready to say anything but she later told her what the healing fairy had told her. Elvenia, shocked looking intensely at her, said “Are you sure about what you’re saying?” she said If you are then my mom is in danger. Elvenia and Elena immediately looked for the queen as they flew away in search of her.
