"I'm sorry," Babe apologized as soon as I entered her room and a smile graced my lips. I was actually worried about her all day since she refused to pick up my call.
She was my mate and staying away from her that long or not hearing from her riled up my wolf. When she had finally picked up the call and told me she wanted to see me, I was relieved.
Katie was in my room all day, trying to make me feel better. She knew something was wrong and it was probably because of Babe. I didn't tell her anything though. We were in the middle of eating when Stanny called and told me about Zion meeting up with Babe.
Arnold had actually given Stanny the job of protecting his daughter and he was doing a badass good job at that.
