Chapter Thirty-Five: A sudden change of behavior

I started to cry, hating that they were all against the great bond I and Ares were sharing. I wished they believed I was telling the truth. I stood nervously as I saw Francine and Frank returning to the kitchen.

"She is gone, all because of you," Frank accused me.

"But I did not do anything," I said.

"Hah!" I held my left cheek.

"Your behavior as a young she-wolf disgusts me," Francine said.

I pushed myself away from her and stood sobbing at the kitchen counter.

"When will we know if the man has given the Alpha the letter," she asked her mate.

"Today," Frank said. "The businessman will be returning this evening to purchase more lumber from me."

"Good," Francine said and glanced at me with great disgust in her eyes.

"The faster we carry out this plan, the faster we'll get rid of this fool," she said, scoffing at me.

She kissed her husband and said her goodbyes before heading to work, as usual, at the devi

These people are all stupid. Especially the old man and woman. They can’t see the resemblance between Ares and the girl?? How f’ing dumb can you be. The author didn’t even make this believable

I would have to fight Francine! What you’re it gonna do it keep slapping me, insulting me and pouring juice on me when and act like you’re so called helping me.
