Alpha Theon’s arrival was smooth and Peter sequestered him in the CEO office on the top floor as required. He hoped that would be far enough from Naomi’s office that they’d never interact or see each other.

“First, Peter” said Theon sitting down behind his large glass desk “I want to thank you for the excellent work on the border guards case. They went before the council yesterday and they have all been found guilty and sent to a lifetime in the mines.”

Peter bowed his head in acknowledgement of the praise from his Alpha, “I just have a few questions for you about it.” Peter wasn’t sure he liked what follow up questions from the Alpha meant. Feeling uneasy he nodded his encouragement for him to continue.

“How did you know about any of this?” Theon asked

Peter was prepared for this and had a story ready “One of the victims came forward, she asked to stay anonymous as she fears being treated differently by the pack.”
