It was already nightfall when Mr. Lykaios drove me home and I was increasingly worried that my parents would question everything. I kept looking at myself on the side mirror and I noticed nothing happened to my face. Literally, I don’t see anything cut or broken. I’m pretty certain of the fact that Benjie got me real good with those hefty punches and I should probably have a broken nose, perhaps a black eye but I was more than shocked to see none of that shit. I’m not usually one lucky person per se. I have never won anything based on the random power of luck but I guess the lucky duckies were in favor of me today. I’m glad that Benjie didn’t manage to break my face because I didn’t have to think of a stupid lie about it. Also, I don’t want to become a whole ass laughing stock when I get to school tomorrow.
