Chapter 20

Everyone in the dormitory was gone.

Sarah laid on the bed, feeling bored while reading a book. Inexplicably, James’ handsome face flashed in her mind. It was only a few days of contact, but she noticed that she would stare at James blankly every time she went to the Marshall house.

She was not sure if it was because of her, but James’ complexion was getting better—it looked as if he could wake up in the next second. However, she understood that it would be possible only if she had successfully practiced her Nine Meridians and Eight Vessels method.

That would take a month, and it could not be done immediately.

The day after would be Saturday, so she would be visiting him.

It had become a habit for her to visit him every day.

It was not because of Wendy, but it was because they almost died, yet stayed alive together.

Sarah was dazedly thinking about James when the voice of the warden lady suddenly came through. “Sarah, your parents are here to pick you up. Hurry up and go downsta
