"You're only to follow my orders!" He raised his voice, I winced from how loud he was. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"

I couldn't finish my sentence. The way he kept raking his hands through his hair to keep stubborn strands away from his face, while his chest rose and fell hastily, was just such a distraction.
