Chapter 1

Tamara breathed a sense of relief as she deplaned from what took an eternity to arrive in New York. She headed to the exit gate where she collided with a man and both of them fell to the ground.

"What the hell!" The guy shouted and the tone in his voice sent shivers in Tamara's body. "Are you blind or you just did this on purpose?" The guy woke up from the ground the same time as Tamara did. 

She was about to apologise to him but due to the arrogant nature expressed by the man she held it back. "You should watch your steps next time to avoid bumping into people." Tamara said as she prepared to leave.

Harry did not want to let it slide and swore in his mind that he was going to take revenge. No one has ever dared talk to him like that before and he was so annoyed. 

As Tamara was leaving,Harry caught a sleeve of her blouse and tore it by mistake. She was so scared as now people had already started gathering around as they were attracted by Harry's screams.

She ran and boarded a cab as tears rolled down her now red cheeks. She instructed the driver where to drop her and she leaned back on the car seat.

Her thoughts ran back to the incident that just happened minutes ago. She returned to New York to start a fresh life but she was met with tragedy the minute she arrived.

Though the man was arrogant and weird Tamara could not help but compliment in her mind how handsome he was. He wore a grey suit accompanied with a white shirt which was unbuttoned slightly showing his masculine top chest.she only wished she had her camera with her.

The driver looked at her using the view mirror and informed her that they had arrived at the place.she paid for the cab and alighted.

Back at the airport,Harry was still complaining and demanded that the security make a search for the lady who just collided with him. He was so furious that one could see his now visible veins. 

His bodyguard just arrived and Harry gave him a tight slap leading him to the ground."where were you?" Harry asked him in a harsh tone.

"I was looking for the right spot to park the car,sir.Am really sorry for the delay" The bodyguard said in a pityfull tone. He got up and dusted his black suit.

"A few minutes ago there was a lady who collided with me and made me trip on the ground.I want you to find her and bring her to me right away. She must pay for what she did" Harry said, referring to his bodyguard.

Harry's car was brought by the airport parking boy and the bodyguard took the keys as Harry got to the back of the car with anger still expressed on his face and veins making themselves visible from the wrist right to his upper arm because he had now removed his suit jacket and let his shirt sleeves up.

Harry was driven to his mansion which was miraculously huge. It had an electric gate, and flowers were planted from the gate side leading to the house making it attractive.

The bodyguard parked the car at the basement where Harry alighted and used his personal lift to get in the house from the basement.

The housekeepers were heard laughing at the top of their voices but when Harry came in there was complete silence. They feared being fired so none of them uttered a word.

He went straight to his bedroom which had a huge bed and the furniture was just perfect and clean. He threw his jacket on the bed and sat on the couch thinking of what just happened. He could not believe that a lady just tried to challenge him and that made his ego come crumbling down. 

He swore to himself that he must find her and make her pay for everything she just did. He removed his shirt and trousers revealing his masculine body and headed to the bathroom which had a glass door and took a shower.

Tamara unpacked her luggage and set her clothes to the now empty wardrobe. She had slipped into comfortable shorts which revealed her long slender legs and her brown thighs. 

She murmured to herself addressing no one in particular. "What an arrogant man. He thinks because he looks rich he can boss everyone around. I will teach him a lesson when I see him next time but I never wish to meet him again in my life". 

"I will just let it slide because I came to make them pay and take back what they took from me plus clearing my name of all the allegations that they blamed me for.

She had just finished unpacking and cleaning the apartment that she had rented. She jumped on her bed and looked at the picture that was beside her bed and took it. 

"I only wish you were here. This could have never happened." She said as tears fell down her eyes. She was talking to the picture that belonged to her parents who had a car accident and only she survived when the car fell of the bridge.

Investigators say it was an accident but she believes in her heart that the accident was orchestrated by her uncle and her ex boyfriend so that they can take her father's company which was the top leading architecture company in the country.

Tamara woke up to the sound of the cars that were hooting in the streets. She looked up at her watch and saw it was 8:00pm.she had to get something for her grumbling stomach.

She stepped out with a pair of jeans which showed her seductive curves and a black hood with a baseball cap. 

She went to the supermarket to buy shopping as she had none in her house. As she was picking a trolley she came face to face with the arrogant Harry again and he gazed at her with a smirk on his face.
