Marcus's eyes snapped open, and he sat up from the bed where he was laying, his heart racing like a jack rabbit from the vivid dream he just had. He rubbed his temples, trying to shake off the lingering emotions.

In the dream, he was carrying a woman out of a burning building, her body limp in his arms. He hadn't seen her face, but his emotions had been intense, driven by a deep sense of love and concern.

The dream's vivid imagery still lingered, and he could almost feel the intense heat of the flames engulfing him. Sweat dripped down his face, stinging his eyes. He rubbed his temples, trying to shake off the lingering fear.

As he swung his legs over the side of the bed, Ava stirred beside him. "Marcus, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

Marcus hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. "Just a bad dream," he muttered, trying to brush it off.

Ava sat up and wrapped her arms around him. "Tell me about it," she coaxed, her voice soft.

Marcus sighed, feeling

  • The billionaire’s captive    Married?

As Simon unlocked the gallery door, he noticed a parcel lying on the ground just in front of the door,he picked it up curiously as he opens the door. The gallery's interior was quiet and still, awaiting the day's visitors. Simon examined the parcel, wrapped in brown paper and twine, with no indication of who might have sent it or what it could contain. He dropped it on the counter, wondering if it was a new delivery for one of the art pieces on display but it didn’t look as though,as it was flat and not heavy. Simon hummed a tune as he carefully arranged the artwork on the gallery walls, making sure each piece was perfectly aligned and lit. He stepped back to admire his handiwork, nodding in satisfaction as the vibrant colors and eclectic styles seemed to dance across the space. With the main gallery area looking stunning, Simon moved on to tidy up the storage room, setting aside the unfinished canvases and art supplies. He whistled softly as he worked, lost in the rhythm of prep

  • The billionaire’s captive    Who is the woman in my bed

Ava's heart was racing as Marcus's gaze lingered on the spare room door. She knew she had to act fast to distract him. "Hey, why don't I make us some coffee while you finish getting settled?" she suggested, trying to sound casual. Marcus turned to her, his expression softening slightly. "That sounds nice, thanks." Ava breathed a silent sigh of relief as Marcus followed her to the kitchen. She quickly got to work brewing coffee, trying to keep her hands steady. As they sat down at the kitchen table, Ava couldn't help but wonder what Marcus would do if he discovered the lock expert hiding in the spare room. She pushed the thought aside, focusing on the present moment. She handed Marcus the steaming cup of coffee, her smile warm. "Here you go, enjoy." Marcus took a sip, his eyes closing in appreciation. "Thanks, this is just what I needed." Ava's smile faltered for a moment before she recovered. "I'm glad you like it. I will just... um... go check on something, ‘‘em Paul."

  • The billionaire’s captive    Unlocking the safe.

Marcus and Ava sat down for breakfast when his phone rang. He quickly got up, excusing himself to answer the call from Alex. Ava watched him leave the room, feeling a pang of curiosity. It struck her as unusual for Marcus to step away to take a call, especially since he normally wasn't so secretive about his conversations until recently when he would quietly take his calls, sometimes head out to receive it. As she pondered this, Ava's mind wandered to how Marcus had become more protective of his phone. She couldn't recall the last time she'd seen it lying around unattended. A flutter of concern settled in her chest. Was Marcus hiding something from her? Was he regaining his memories? Ava's thoughts swirled with questions, and she found herself studying Marcus's behavior more intently as he returned to the table. When Marcus sat down, Ava looked up at him with a questioning gaze. "Everything okay?" she asked, trying to sound nonchalant. Marcus nodded, adjusting in his seat

Three months later, Sophia had settled into her role at Ruby World of Art, mastering the office routine and feeling at ease with her colleagues. One morning at the office,Julian approached her desk, slipping a note onto her workspace. Sophia's eyes widened as she read the message: "You look stunning I wonder why you still won’t give me a chance to be your man?" A crudely drawn emoji accompanied the words, making her smile. Sophia's eyes sparkled as she read the note, a mix of amusement dancing on her face. She glanced up at Julian, who was watching her with hopeful eyes. Despite the compliment, Sophia's response remained firm but friendly. This wasn't the first time Julian had expressed his interest in her. Since their initial encounter, he'd been consistently friendly and flirtatious, but Sophia had politely declined his advances. She valued their professional relationship and didn't feel comfortable pursuing a romance not when she isn’t over Marcus yet. As Sophia looked up, Ju
