CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

  Damien Reed, that was the child's name, Lex's heir.

  After the death of his mother, we searched for him everywhere, we searched for relatives of the mother but she had none. We had no idea of where he was hiding, it was like he disappeared into thin air.

  After years of looking, we gave up. It was good that he was finally out of the picture. Maybe he had escaped that day and probably starved to death in the streets.

  I didn't get what I wanted but in the same vain Lex was miserable at the loss of his mistress and the disappearance of his son. Seeing him miserable gave me so much satisfaction. He tried to get me arrested but there was no evidence to prove that I had a hand in her death nor of his son's whereabouts.

  Things went back to normal or not completely normal for me but everything was alright. I had returned to Columbia and I still had my dad's drug business to run so I was making lots of cash from it.
