A date and time had been fixed for the exchange and Agent Maya and Agent Jason had returned with Damien for this exchange. Damien lay on the bed in his hotel room, sleep deprived. Damien watched as Sythe's body was taken away, he clenched his fist and cursed under his breath. He blamed himself for Sythe's death and swore to kill the ladybird like Sythe had demanded. Earlier on, a tracker had been placed on all of the ladybird's vehicles so it was easier to locate her whereabouts. "We've located the ladybird, she's on the move now," Agent Jason said. Annie held onto Damien crying her eyes out as she watched as her father was laid to rest. Her mother too was there to witness the burial of her husband. Annie had told her everything and the truth behind his absence over the years and that was enough to convince her to attend his funeral.
