“what? Why?” anna asked perplexed, she didn’t want Kal to know, he would be worried, if she knew this would become bigger and escalate to this she would have returned home as soon as possible,

She had spent a good hour or two and the palace wasn’t that far off from the duke’s manor, just like clockwork she heard the arrival of a carriage, that came into the estate,

The doors opened up and it was Kal, Kal didn’t look happy at all, “leave” he ordered all the servants as they were left alone, he came closer to where she stood looking over her body to see if she was hurt ”Kal I am unhurt, you didn’t have to come back, it was a false alarm” she called but he hadn’t replied

“what happened? Where were you?

“I went out riding and I went far too deep into the trees, my horse ran away that’s all”

“yet from what I heard, you returned by the front gate, with another horse and a strange man, “

“Kal, it’s nothing I just happened to get close to the fence of our neighbor”
