As expected, I won the project for Locke's Empire and our competitors groaned and mumbled as they walked out of the conference room after accepting their loss.

Only Aiden was unaffected but Isabella looked like she was about to explode. I bet she thought that showing up would guarantee their win. If only she knew who I was now.

“Come with me, Sophia. We have to keep that fucker until the police arrives” Damien told me after we'd signed the agreement for the project.

He didn't give me the chance to say a word. He only grabbed my hand by the wrist and pulled me out of the conference room, leaving Aiden and Isabella back there.

“Show me the balcony” he demanded once we were a distance away so I led the way until we were at the spot where the all nerve wrecking incident happened to me and I was surprised to see the man was still knocked out.
