“I was worried about you, Sophia. No matter how you tried to hide it, you clearly weren't over that incident from that night we went out for dinner. So I racked through my brain, thinking of what could make you feel better and bringing you to the club was the only possible solution”

I confessed to Sophia as we remained in the booth. Music was still booming loud, a few glasses of drinks had been taken too and it was only half an hour we'd spent.

“I hope you like this, though? I don't want you pretending to enjoy this place so be honest” I asked her and she shrugged before pouring herself another glass and she took a sip.

“I must say, Damien. You found the perfect place to help me unwind because I like it here. I feel so lightweight already” she slurred and I frowned.

She was getting drunk already. That meant she was a lightweight drinker.

“Careful with the alcohol Sophia. It'll knock you out if you take too much” I warned and she giggled after taking another sip.
