CHAPTER TWO ‘Nightmare 2’

“Jarry!” I snapped, about to blurt out all the anger in my heart but he interupted me before I even got started.

“-Don't come any closer, bitch. I already know the truth about you!” He yelled, his eyes filled with tears that made me laugh like the psycho I was.

He even called me a bitch! 

I chuckled internally hitting my boobs lightly that the small crowd that had gathered started looking at me as though I had gone mad. They weren't wrong though. I was mad! I was fu*king mad! I hadn't started acting up and he already called me a bi*ch

I was about to vent when my eyes spotted Kelly looking at me with a smirk evident on her face.

That was an emotion she couldn't quickly change even when she met my eyes. I immediately felt the disagreement between me and Jarry had something to do with her.

“Bitch what'd you say to my husband?” My legs started walking in Kelly's direction and she started retreating, her eyes filled with tears. 

That instantly cracked me up. When did Kelly suddenly become a weak woman? Was it because Jarrod was here? Was it because she was scr*wing Jarrod? Was that bitch fu*king my husband?!

“Oh, cut the crap!” Jarrod stood in front of Kelly, protecting her from my claws.

“Bella, what's going on?” Alexa, one of my other friends asked but I ignored her. Wasn't Kelly my best friend? If she could snitch on me to my husband then Alexa would probably do worse.

“Enough Bella! Jarrod already knows the truth about who you really are so stop pretending and tell the whole family the truth” Kelly said with a shaky voice surprising me.

What truth? Jarrod knew everything about me. The fact that I grew up in the slums and the fact that I used to pick people's pockets to survive, the fact that I killed my own parents. He knew everything!

“Kelly, what are you talking about? Why are you making a scene here?” Alexa asked, standing in front of me but I pushed her out of my sight and stood in front of Jarrod. 

“What is she saying husband?”

Suddenly Danielle was by my side while glaring at Jarrod. Her eyes asking why he and Kelly were making a scene.

“What's going on here?”

Kelly stood pitifully behind Jarrod with tears in her eyes, “Your daughter in-law has betrayed you”

I bursted into laughter at what Kelly was saying. Was she talking about the time I didn't practice cooking Spaghetti and fish soup like mother-in-law desperately wanted me to? Was there really a need to create such drama because of food?

“It appears that Bella has been cheating on Jarrod with Cameron for a long time now, and I have evidence to prove that I'm telling the truth. I might be her friend but i care about this family and I can't let this cheap wh*re cheat you this way!” Kelly cried keeping her voice loud.

The smile on my face disappeared after hearing Kelly speak but suddenly I bursted out laughing again.

“If you want to frame me at least frame me with someone I can have a chance to sleep with not Cameron!” I aimed to hit Kelly but Jarrod kept getting in my way.

It was fu*king annoying. How could my smart husband fall for such obvious lies? Was it because he had cheated on me many times that he thought I would be as cheap as him and open my legs to any guys that came my way?

Kelly however continued blabbering while holding onto my stupid husband's arm, “Now she is carrying Cameron's child and wants to abort it so that Jarrod wouldn't know or suspect a thing. How could you want to kill a child because of your own selfish deeds?” Kelly said, pretending to cry but I already knew her techniques. She wanted to manipulate everyone and look like a saint in their eyes.

Before I could say anything, Alexa walked over to Kelly and slapped her hard on the face causing Jarrod to hold Kelly in his arms and glare at Alexa.

“How dare you touch her you pest! You're nothing but a bad influence on Bella!” Jarrod roared even louder than a wolf that I was beginning to worry. Wasn't I, his wife right in front of him?

How could.. how could he believe her?

The smile on my face disappeared and I froze, unable to say a word.

“How could you, Kelly! After everything we've done for you, is this how you'll pay us back? You're nothing but a-”

“Shut up Alexa! this is a family matter. Do not interfere! and this is about Bella anyway, can't she speak?” Jarrod yelled walking intimidatingly towards Alexa.

Knowing Alexa was scared of men's contact I pushed myself between then and looked at Alexa in the eyes pleadingly, “Please don't make this harder than it already is”

Despite Alexa timid nature, she shook her head at me “No! You need to show this b*tch her place. Are you blind Bella? Can't you see that your marriage is at the verge of breaking apart? Will you step down like a coward and let her take your place?” Alexa asked making me look away.

I was ashamed of Jarrod's and I relationship.

He couldn't even trust me, his own wife.

Jarrod's mother glanced around before saying, “Show us proof that Bella is cheating on my son, then Jarrod will decide what to do”

I mentally applauded my mother-in-law but my happiness was short-lived when Kelly opened her purse and brought out photos containing pornographic content of me and Cameron loving each other on the bed. 

I recognized that bed. It was my bed, in Jarrod's and I room.

 I snatched the photos from her hand and took a closer look. I was in shock.

Did I really sleep with Cameron?

I shook my head quickly. No! That bitch was trying to confuse me.

Cameron came to visit two months ago and we both drank but Jarrod was home, there was no way.. I shook my head letting the photos drop on the floor.

“I never did this,” I murmured shaking my head repeatedly.

I kept repeating in my head untill I got a hold of myself.

Kelly was really good at manipulating people. Even I almost believed I slept with my husband's friend.

I looked at Jarrod pleadingly, not sure how to console him. Even I almost believed Kelly's lies. “I didn't do it, I swear” I cried walking towards him but he kept moving backwards.

“Jarrod-”

“-Pack your things and leave this house, I don't want to see your face ever again” he interupted and that was when I knew that things were more ugly than I originally thought.

“Would you trust a stranger over your own wife?” I was so frustrated that I didn't even know how to defend myself anymore.

“Answer me!” I snapped but instead he raised his hand and slapped me hard against my right cheek. Immediately, Alexa ran towards him and attacked him while I just stood there holding my cheek with blurry eyes but the tears never fell.

I couldn't even stop Alexa and Jarrod from fighting. I just stood there like a rock, shocked by everything that was currently going on. It was like a nightmare.

I could only hear the conversation between Jarrod and his mother after regaining myself from the shock.

“Jarrod don't be stupid, Bella won't leave this house she's pregnant!”

“With Cameron's child” Jarrod added and I shook my head repeatedly refusing to let Kelly lies get into my head.

“Jar-”

“No ma, I've made my decision,” he cut her off harshly and instantly, i ran out of the sight of everyone feeling extremely ashamed and embarrassed.
