Chapter 6: Liam's Past

Sylvia didn't know how long she had been asleep, when she woke up, the bright sunlight had filled the room. Clothes were scattered everywhere, and the air was still filled with the strong smell of alcohol. Sylvia looked around… Liam was nowhere to be seen! In just one night, she became his mistress? Tears rolled down, flowing down Sylvia's beautiful face, this life is really like hell, after all, she is still a student, she wants to get out of here. Looking back at her body covered in kisses, in pain from being tormented all night, Sylvia couldn't help but feel bitter. Sylvia was like someone else, not hers, in pain and despair.

There was a sound of the door opening.

"Are you awake yet?"

From the bathroom, Liam came out with a large towel wrapped around his waist, toned body with muscular muscles, extremely attractive masculine face. Water dripped on her shiny skin and on her golden hair like the sun. It seemed that last night he was extremely relaxed and happy.

Sylvia gulped, if he hadn't kidnapped her, if he hadn't raped her, she might have been attracted to that handsome figure. Liam is really handsome and charming.

"You… why are you treating me like that? You mistook me for Ariel - your girlfriend?"

Liam shook his head, showing no sign of remorse or guilt. It's the first time someone has made him feel so good… even his dead girlfriend - Ariel doesn't make him feel so infatuated! This girl… had seduced him, made him fall in love with her. But surely, he will never love her. Liam coldly walked over to the bed, took a pill, gave it to Sylvia, and loudly ordered.

"Drink it, I don't want you to get pregnant!"

There was a loud explosion in Sylvia's head. Yes… you can't be pregnant with this bastard's child, absolutely not. Is it too late to drink now?

Sylvia took the pill, put her hands on the bed, got up, went to the table, poured a glass of water, took a sip.

"I don't want to be pregnant with your child either! Let me go quickly." Sylvia screamed but Liam quickly pinned her down on the bed. Her solid body pressed against Sylvia's body making it impossible for her to move.

"Be obedient in your room, don't play tricks on me." Liam whispered in Sylvia's ear in a disgusted tone.

Those brown eyes that looked directly into Liam's made him feel a bit familiar, where had he seen her before? A sharp pain hit Liam, making Liam extremely uncomfortable. Hot blood flows in the veins, the pain feels like a whip on the skin, bleeding. The terrible nightmare repeated, little by little as if it wanted to burn Liam, from within every cell.

"I… how are you?" Seeing Liam's deformed expression made Sylvia panic.

"Get out... get out!" Liam yelled, roughly pushing Sylvia away.

Sylvia did not understand why Liam was mad, she hurriedly stepped back, fearfully looking at Liam as if she were looking at a monster.

In an extremely cramped and dark small room, 14-year-old Liam sat on an old bench with piles of books over his head. Next to the owner of the Vineyard - Olive Vineyard, a harsh and extremely cruel man.

"Steve, from now on you change your name to Liam… it's Liam Vineyard, I hate the name Steve. Remember, you're a Vineyard family now, eating at the Vineyards, working for the Vineyards. If you don't finish reading it all today with these books, don't even leave the room."

Liam raised his watery blue eyes to the strange man who had bought him from a private orphanage that disguised the sale and exchange of homeless, familyless children, no. have parents. The owner is a big fat guy with a big belly, extremely cruel and stingy, the children's food is always left over rice soup.

"I know, sir!"

Liam picked up a thick and heavy book, turned the pages, inside were business lessons that were extremely difficult to understand, a child like him could not understand them all. But if at the end of the day, when Olive Vineyard asked and he couldn't answer, he would receive many whips and powerful blows. Whenever Liam disobeyed, Olive would press his head into a large bucket of water, until he could barely breathe, his lungs hurt like he wanted to explode, then he let go. Before becoming the perfect heir, Liam endured all kinds of tortures and sufferings, he ate rancid food to learn how to save, stayed in a cold room to appreciate warm blankets. From the age of 14 until adulthood, Liam had absolutely no friends.

Liam always remembers his days at the orphanage, where he has close friends - Tania and Leo. Liam used to love Tania, a beautiful girl 5 years younger than him with smiling chestnut brown eyes, chubby cheeks and snow-white skin. Liam used to hold Tania's hand through the green grass fields, picking primroses for her and making laurel wreaths for her. Both of them lay together watching the starry sky at night and humming small songs, sharing sweet candy bars with each other. Until one day, a well-dressed man came and said he wanted to buy Liam with a large amount of money, the owner of the orphanage quickly offered a price, a terrible price.

Liam is no ordinary kid, randomly chosen. Liam has outstanding intelligence, excellent appearance with fair skin, sky-colored eyes and golden hair. From the first time she saw it, Olive decided to buy Liam. Olive, childless, is an eccentric man who demands absolute perfection. His huge fortune must be given to a person he personally selected and trained.

Liam is that unlucky kid.

The day Liam left the orphanage gave Tania a necklace made of colored glass, the two hugged each other and cried for a long time. From then on, although Liam spent a lot of time looking for Tania, he couldn't find it! He assumed she was adopted by someone and changed her name. Anyway, Liam's feelings for Tania are still very much, he is always eager to see her again. Even just once.
