Chapter 16: The sick Iris

Iris's POV

It was pretty late when I woke up, I decided to make my way to the kitchen, it seemed I was feeling hungry again, the sky was already dark, and the lights in the castle hadn't been put up, I thought of putting it on but then I don't know if he is back, I don't want him to send me out, so I thought of going to the kitchen quietly and returning without him seeing or notice me.

Slowly I opened the door of my room, I peeked using my wolf sense to search my way to the kitchen, my movement was quiet, and I didn't want to make any noise.

I was hoping to have sufficient meal and rest because I wouldn't know what the next minute held for me and then my thoughts ran to alpha David, I am sure he must be looking for me and Damien must have also heard about it and he too must be looking for me.

"He is here." My wolf said all of a sudden.

"Who is here?" I asked.

"He, the one with the hot chocolate and mixture of coffee."
