CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN: JUST A LITTLE LONGER
Rhea’s POV
I ran out of the building and saw the demon disappear behind a corner. Without hesitating, I bolted behind the demon. I turned the corner in pursuit of the demon and found it turning behind another corner. Without wasting time, I sprinted and thanked Adrian for making me workout daily. I was not huffing and puffing like I usually do even after all the running.
I found the demon hovering over a few feet away. I slowed down and approached with caution. Why did it stop suddenly?
I reached near the demon and it started making high-pitched screeching noises? Was it cursing me or begging me to leave it alone?
I shrugged and tried to think of what to do? I had a demon in front of me, but how would I capture it? I couldn’t touch it, and spells didn’t work on it. Then what else could I do?
I had followed the demon, hoping that I would get some amazing inspirational idea to catch it. But right now,

It felt like déjà vu and I remembered waking up like this in his for the first time like this after a similar situation. “We have to stop meeting like this,” I joked and cleared my throat when I felt my voice break. My throat was as dry as the desert. How long had I been out this time? I was feeling like a pansy who fainted now and then.
