Vivian walked into her house furiously. She was both angry and heartbroken. She couldn't believe that Alexander could say such things to her. She flung herself unto the couch.

"Sweetie, don't worry, Alexander will eventually see that you're the perfect woman for him." Said Esther, as she tried to console her daughter.

"Didn't you just hear what the king said? He is not going to marry her, why won't you get that into your head Esther?" Desmond Lancaster asked his wife.

"And why should I? She can't miss this type of opportunity."

"Opportunity? The king was very clear. Do you want to end up in a dungeon?"

"As far as queen mother is on our side, that will never happen." She said. She then continued;

"Vivian you yourself haven't been playing your cards right. You've had so many opportunities to make him fall for you. Get your act together." She scolded.
