Milo’s POV

I stood in front of a giant mirror, fingers trembling as I buttoned up the last piece of the outfit that was laid out for me by Daphne, who I have come to know as the head of the servants and maids in this castle.

a soft, cream-colored piece of robe embroidered with silver thread in the shape of flowers, and barely covering my chest and pelvic region, leaving my back and mid thigh exposed.

A true reminder of my fate and how helpless i was.

Like Daphne had told me when she prepared my bath before disappearing into god knows where, today happens to be dinner night. A celebration in honor of their alpha, who have now become my captor and master.

I looked like a rag doll, painted and dressed for someone else’s amusement.

And tonight, that someone was the Mafian King. A ruthless and bruteless man.

I stared at my reflection. My lips were stained deep pink, to match with the colour of my eyes that continues to flutter under my long lashes.
