Chloe’s POV

The next morning, breakfast was unusually quiet. I sat at the table, staring down at my untouched plate.

My father cleared his throat. “Chloe, there’s something I need to—”

“I’ll do it.” Everyone at the table froze. My father looked at me. “Do what?” “Marry Michael.”My stepmom’s eyes widened, while Amelia nearly dropped her spoon. I slowly lifted my gaze. “I’ll marry him. I’ll sign the contract.”

“Chloe…” my father whispered.

But I didn’t wait for another word.

I pushed my chair back, stood up, and walked out of the dining room. A few minutes later, I returned with the marriage contract in my hands. Without reading it again, I picked up the pen and signed my name.

The room fell silent.

My father stared at my signature, guilt written all over his face.

My stepmom however, smiled.

“At least for the first time, you’re doing something meaningful for this family.” I looked at her but said nothing. I simply put the pen down and walked away.

A few days later, the family hosted a grand banquet. Businessmen, wealthy families, company executives, and influential people from across the city filled the luxurious hall.

Everyone knew why they were there. The marriage between Chloe and Michael, the ruthless billionaire, was the biggest topic of the night. I stood alone near the balcony, trying to escape the crowd.

Then a familiar voice called my name.

“Chloe!”

I stiffened.

Andrew. He walked toward me, his expression filled with regret.

“Please, just hear me out.” “There’s nothing to hear.” “Chloe, I made a mistake. I should have—”

“Andrew, please leave.”

“I can’t.”

He reached for my hand.

“I love you.” I immediately pulled away. “You should have remembered that before.”

“I know. But it’s not too late.”

“It is.” Andrew stepped closer. “Then don’t marry him.”

My eyes hardened.

“I already signed the contract.” Before Andrew could respond, Amelia approached them with a smug smile. “There’s no point in begging her anymore, Andrew.” He turned toward her. “What are you talking about?”

“She already agreed to marry Michael.”

Andrew’s face changed.

“That isn’t true.” Amelia laughed softly. “You really think I’d lie about something like that?”

“She’s lying.” Andrew turned back to me. “Tell me she’s lying.” I remained silent.

“Chloe, look at me.”

I refused. Andrew grabbed my wrist. “Please. Just tell me this isn’t real.”

“Let go of me.”

“Not until you listen.”

Suddenly—

BANG!

Someone shoved Andrew away from me. He stumbled backward and nearly fell. The entire conversation around them died instantly. Chloe slowly looked up.

A tall man stood between them, dressed in a black suit, his expression cold. His eyes were sharp enough to silence the entire room.

Michael.

The ruthless billionaire.

Andrew’s face went pale.

“Michael…”

Michael didn’t answer.

Andrew quickly straightened his suit. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t doing anything to hurt her. I was just talking to—”

“To my fiancée?” Michael’s voice was calm.

Too calm. Andrew swallowed.

Amelia hurried over and helped him steady himself. Michael’s eyes moved to me. Then back to Andrew,For a moment, nobody spoke. Amelia glared at me before pulling Andrew away. I watched them disappear into the crowd.

Then I turned toward Michael.

“Thank you for helping me.”

Michael didn’t respond.

He walked past me as though I wasn’t there. I stood frozen. I had just become his wife-to-be, yet he hadn’t even looked at me twice. And somehow, that frightened me more than anything else. Amelia helped Andrew into a private room and shut the door behind them.

The moment they were alone, her smile disappeared.

“I told you to stop talking to her,” she snapped. “Why did you go after Chloe again?”

Andrew glared at her. “You deceived me.” Amelia folded her arms. “How?”

“You told me she would never find out. You told me everything would be fine.”

“You’re blaming me?” “Yes!” Andrew’s voice rose. “You knew I was with Chloe, yet you deliberately got involved with me. You lied to me about everything.”

Amelia stepped closer. “You can blame me all you want, Andrew, but you betrayed her too.”

He fell silent.

“You chose to sleep with her sister,” Amelia continued coldly. “So don’t stand there and pretend you’re innocent.”

Andrew looked away. Amelia smiled.

“And now you have no choice.”

He frowned. “What does that mean?”

“It means you’re mine already.” Before he could respond, Amelia grabbed his collar and kissed him.

Andrew froze for a moment before pushing her back.

“This is wrong.”

“Wrong?” she whispered. “After everything we’ve done together, you’re suddenly worried about what’s right and wrong?”

She pulled him closer again. Andrew’s resistance slowly disappeared as the door closed behind them.

Then he turned her back, making her chest press against the table, as he lifted her gown and pressed his bulging cock between her legs.

As he unbuttoned his trousers, letting them slide down his waist, he used his cock to tease her clit before slamming deep into her wet cunt.

“Oh yes, baby!”

Her moan filled the room.

Outside, I walked down the hallway.

I was about to pass the room when I heard voices from inside.

I stopped. My expression tightened. I recognized Andrew’s voice. For a moment, an old ache stirred in my chest.

Then I shook my head. Not anymore. Whatever Andrew was doing behind that door was no longer my concern..

I continued walking.

I had already given up on him.
