Once morning arrived, Larissa walked out the chouldron surrounded by the priestesses who were there to see her off.
She looked vibrant and happy in her flowery short sleeved gown and her little box.
The men, however, looked gloomy and tired with bags under their eyes as they greeted their princess,. They looked even more comical to Larrisa that way, especially when some of them had looks of horror from seeing the priestesses assemble round the chouldron
It almost looked like they were about to perform a ritual
"I'm leaving now, Nana" Larissa turned to the priestesses
"My child" Nana, the woman without the hood said as she walked forward to take Larissa's hand In hers "remember everything you've been thought here and never depart from them, keep the objects of protection with you always and don't go around trying to tame demons that are above your level" she looked at the vibrant nature green eyes of the young lady and smiled sadly "and don't forget to visit once in a while "
"of course " Larissa took the hands of the woman she has come to love over the years into hers as she smile "and don't worry about me, I'll be careful " she said and with that, she was walking away as the other priestesses waved her goodbye
"We'll miss you " they all said in sybc
"I will too" Larissa waved back "and now general" she smiled at George as someone took the little box from her "please lead the way"

Before sunset, Larissa was already at the foot of the mountain, from where she could already see the distant outskirts of windfall
She smiled as the wind blows on her face, her hair flowing with it
"Windfall" she whispered dreamily at the sight, it had been a while since she got to even see it from afar and that could explain half the reason why her heart was thumping wildly in her chest.
She giddled her horse and was about to take off when another horse ran from her side and blocked her path
"Princess Larissa!" George breathed out "please let us escort you from this point on as it is our duty to..."
"Race you to the palace general!" Larissa excitedly shouts and ran pass the man who sighed in defeat
"Are you sure that lady is a princess, general?" Prince David asked and he sighs again
He's being questioning himself about that since the previous day when he met her, but somehow when he saw her work out in that mansion earlier that day he knew she was a princess indeed
The moon had done little the eniminating her beauty, under the morning sun however in her dress of beautiful flowering patterns, her green eyes, light brown hair and fair skin, she looked one with nature, like a goddess they all flourished around.
A princess indeed, he was sure
And then it was time for her to mount her palanquin as standard for a princess, but then she looked at them with disgust and requested she also get to ride a horse
Before anyone could answer, she looked around the tied up horses and picked a white one which she immediately got on, mesmerizing the men who watched the graceful way she flew up to sit at the animal's back
" how long does it take to get to windfall?" Larissa asked as she looks down at the men
"With clear skies and no delays on the way we should be there by tomorrow morning" George replied and she hummed
"Well..." she started as she made a hand sign and tapped at the horse's head twice "let's reduce the time by three times General, race you down the mountains" she squealed the last part and then the horse was racing away inhumanly
"Wait princess!!!"
George shouted but she was long gone "Damn it, hurry it men!" he commanded as he jumped his horse and raced after her, they didn't get to see her for miles and hours until she was at the foot of the mountain and then she was off again.
"We should at least try to get into the palace shortly after her to ensure our duty of ensuring she back safe and sound is fulfilled" George said, his voice tired but firm, and after the men had chorused a 'yes sir' they hurried along.
By sunset Larissa was in front of the palace and she breaths a happy sigh as her horse walks slowly towards the entrance of the palace.
"Who goes there?" a thick voice asked, halting her horse and making her look down at the gate's guard who she hadn't really noticed at first since she admiring the beauty of the palace.
"Oh hello there" she smiled "I am Princess Larissa, and I'm here to see my father, the king"
"Oh hi Larissa, I am his royal majesty the king, nice to meet you, my daughter" the guard answered sarcastically, causing the others to laugh, but it stopped when the air around them began to darken and when they looked up at her, she had a steel gaze and a monstrous black cloud floatted behind her with red eyes.
It was threatening, causing the men, even with their spares stretched to tremble in fright.
"Are you mocking me or is it my father that you mock? You piece of shit..."
Larissa wore a shining white gown adorned with beautiful pearls and ornaments that shone in the ray of sunlight that filtered in through the windows of the large hall the wedding was taking place in.Her brown hair was pulled back in a long braid with beautiful artificial flower crown placed over it to frame her small almond face. And her green eyes adding to her beautyShe looked like an angel who had descended to walk the road of men.Except in her case, rumors of her being a witch had already spread in the Evergreen palace and everyone who was in attendance of the wedding stood at a far distance away from her path, almost pressing themselves to the wall in fright.Larissa didn’t care, she probably didn’t even notice as she could only see Patrick who stood in all his majestically glorious outfit at the front of the hall, an officiating priest in front of him with his book of laws in hand. The princess had an awestruck look on her face, one she had on ever since the king kissed her t
Patrick’s chest rose and fell steadily as he looked down on Larissa who was on her knees, her head down, her hair all over her face with the tip of his sword over her neck. She looked disheaveled, but Patrick did not look any better. There were light bruises over his face and body“So what’s it going to be princess, do we keep on fighting or do you yield?”“Hah!” Larissa laughed and then looked up at him “this is the gentlest your voice has been since we met, why, do I seem more feminine now that I’ve been defeated?”“Shut up!”“Why, I think I like you even more now” she asserted as she shakily stood up “I yield”At that, Patrick turned around and began to walk away. Larissa breath out a disappointed sigh“Is that it, you’re just going to walk away?”“What are you doing right now? make haste, we leave at dawn tomorrow” He walked away, leaving a very pleased and smiling Larissa who looked up at the sky and lets out a small laugh“See that head priestess, I get to live in the world like a
Larissa yawned as she watched the two men who were currently fighting with drowsy eyes. The elimination by fail method of the contest had began since the early hours of noon and interested men had been pouring into the palace since the early hours of morning and were only filtered to a manageable amount when they were asked to pay a certain amount of fine to be able to participateAfter all, the princess wasn’t going to be handed to just anyone who can fightIt had been fun at first when the fight was going fast and smoothly, each one not lasting up to five minutesBut ever since the current two entered the arena, it’s been ten minutes and they were still going onThey looked obviously tired, but after each strike, they pant to catch their breath and then start again and it was becoming boring to watchLarissa felt so sorry for them since they were trying so hard but she just couldn’t take it anymore“Father, is there no way we can call off this fight? at this rate it’s going to take
"A little headsup would have been nice father" Larissa quarelled as she folded her arms over her chest to show her unhappiness and this made the king smile slyly as he tries to pacify"Sorry my dear, but i really had no time to think things through as the kingdom was at stake""Oh well" she shrugged her shoulders with a pout on her lips "all's well that ends well I guess"“What if this doesn’t end well and it instead makes things worse Princess Larissa?” Melissa asked, her voice tinted in worry and anger “our people could be in danger because of your egoistic decision”“Melissa…”“Father, why aren’t you saying anything? You know how dangerous that man can be”“Melissa that’s enough!”The king’s voice finally cut through and the whole place went quiet“Is he as dangerous as I am then? Shouldn’t you be more worried for his sake than for our people…” Larissa cuts herself with a gasp and looked at her father in shock realization “Father, you didn’t tell her about me”“Larissa listen…” the
chapter 8"Father!" Larissa called on top of her voice as she burst open the door to the king's court room and proceeded to run ungracefully inEarlier, her horse had passed the scared bunch by the gate while they were held still in frightMidway into the court, she stops, smiles sheepishly and gracefully curtsied when she meets her father scowling face.A small smile escapes her, as she already knows how this would play out, afterall, her father could never get angry with her and she knows that. And so like she predicted, the king let out a defeated sigh and smiles"Larissa" he called gently and she grins widely, her white dentition on full display as she runs up the rest of the way and fell into the king's widespread arms.“Oh father, I missed you so much, and when instead of you I saw those grumpy men, I really thought something happened to you, it scared me” she pouted and the king laughed heartily as he patted her hairIt surprised everyone present at the court room to see the kin
