Chapter six

                         (Ariana POV)

"Hey, can I ask everyone something? Can someone please explain the whole mate thing?"

Everyone stopped eating and Look up to me with a confusion on their face. My brother who seemed to be all wrapped up in Maddie look toward me as well like I had said the stupidest thing in the world.

"What would you like to know about mates?"

"Well Nat, I want to know everything that you know. Like, how does the mate bond work? How can you tell who your mate is? What happens when you find your mate or what if you never find your mate? What is it with this marking your mate does, and do you mark each other? What happens if you or your mate doesn't want to be together?"

They all stared at me like I grew a second head.

"Wow Ariana, you're not asking much are you. So, Consalvo would you like to take a crack at that or maybe you would Nat?"

"I think it be better if Nat takes this for, he seems to be closer to Ariana than I am."

"Thanks a lot Con. Alright give me a few minutes to take all that in. Alright, you do understand how mates are set up?"

"Yes, its the moon goddess who will choice us our mate."

"Yes, it is the moon goddess that set the mates together. A lot of the times we will find our mates either after our first shift or when we turn eighteen years old. The way were able to tell if someone our mate is by smell, by the warm sparks when they touch and even sometimes by just a feeling you get near your mate. The feeling is usually when your too young to have your wolf yet. Its exceedingly rare that a mate doesn't work out, and when it does happen you can always reject that mate, but I think hard before doing so. Now that your brother has found his mate were going to need to talk to their parents and the principal of the school. They are going to have change their sleeping arrangement."

"What are you talking about? Why would the happen?"

"Even though your father has became the Beta to our pack it doesn't change that you and your brother has Alpha blood in you both. A male with Alpha blood is more possessive over their mate than other wolves. He also will have problems being away from her for too long of a time, but all males go through that it's just an Alpha feels it more. That's why I told you that you better hope that your mate isn't an Alpha, especially a royal Alpha.

After we finish our meal and desert my brother called our Dad up to let him know about his mate Maddie, so things worked up about the two of them to have their own rooms. I was cleaning up with Rosa as Maddie and my brother packs up their thing to move in together tomorrow. I was told by Rosa that we should be getting a new roommate, but she's not sure who because she never had this happen before. I was cleaning when I received an unknown phone call that I wasn't sure I should answer. 

"Hello?"

"Hi this is Diana Macey and I'm one of the gym teachers at the school, is this Ariana Silverio?"

"Yes, is there something I can do for you?"

"I need to know if you were able to fill out the paperwork that you need to turn in before class starts. If so, will you be able to turn it in tomorrow morning before you go to your assembly. I would very much appreciate it."

"Sure, I will be able to do so just tell me where I can drop them off."

"Good, please drop them at my office that is in the gym room next to the weight training room. I'll be seeing you in about two days."

I now need to make sure all paperwork is filled out right. I wanted to talk to my brother before going to bed like we always do, but now things are different he has a mate and I feel like it will be bothering him if I do so. I decide to just take a fast shower, then get my clothes ready for tomorrow and get to sleep.

'Hey sis, why didnt you say good night before going to bed?'

'Because I didn't want to bother you and Maddie.'

'You idiot, you're never a bother. You're my sister and I love you. Good night pain in my ass and I'll see you at the assembly.'

'Yeah night jerk face, and btw I love you too.'

It took me awhile to get myself to sleep being in a new place, but since I brought my own sheets and blanket with the smell of lavender, I was able to fall asleep. I sadly slept through my alarm, so I had to hurry to get dressed, get my paperwork at the teacher office, and then meet everyone at the assembly. I grabbed a black knitted sweater and dark blue jeans. Pulled my hair up into a loose bun and threw on my black leather boots on to run across the street for the school. When I get into the building, I asked a few people how I can get to Mrs. Macey office and thankfully that they were kind enough to tell me how to get there. Yeah, I got a lot of looks from everyone that I walked by, but I was already warned by Maddie that this will happen. I found the gym room in time and as I walked through it, I see the weight training room. The office across from the room must be her office and as I put all my paperwork onto her desk to start heading to meet up with the others I hear something coming from the weight room, something like moaning. It sounded like a male making the noise and I was hoping that everything was alright. Stupid me wanted to go check it out to make sure nothing bad had happen. As I went for the door, I already can see that it was unlocked and as I walked into the room, I can now hear a female as well. Going further into the room I was hit with the smell of the air after a storm with a hint of cedar wood. I was drawn to that smell and I couldn't help but to keep walking to it. I stopped when I see a guy with short dark hair sitting on a workout bench with his head back reaching his hand out to something in front of him. As I get closer to him trying not to make a sound, I was able to see that there was a crescent moon mark behind his left ear, but what made me so sick to my stomach was that my mate was getting a blow job by a blonde hair slut. I tried my best to get out of there without them knowing I was there, but a whimper noise came out of my mouth before I could get my hand to it. That's when the guy went on full alert as he starts sniffing the air.

"You would decide to come into my life at this moment."

I can see the guy trying to get up for some reason, but he was having trouble as I hear him growling at the girl.

"Marcus baby, whats wrong? Where are you going? We're not done yet."

I wanted to hurt her for calling him baby and before I knew it a small growl escaped my mouth, but I had to keep my mind on getting out of here and now. It's a good thing that I was a fast runnier because I'll need it if I wanted to get out. I ran as fast as I could to get out of the room and out of the building. As I was running, I hear that guy yelling at me to stop and calling me his mate. I just kept running until I ran into something or I can say someone as they grabbed my arms.

"Let go of me or Ill kick your ass."

"Wait Ariana, what's wrong? Why are you so upset?"

I looked up to see that it was Nat and he had concern written all over his face.

"Please talk to me, why are you crying?"

I touched my cheek; I was crying and didn't know it.

"Ariana, whats going on?"

I just wrapped my arms around him and buried my head into his chest crying.

"Come on Ariana, tell me what is wrong?"

"I think I just met my mate."

"Why the tears than, I thought that was a good thing?"

"Not when I find him getting oral sex from a blonde bimbo."

He steps away from me so I can see just how pissed off he is.

"Where is this guy? Tell me where I can find him?"

"Why do you want to know that?"

"Because I'm going to kick his ass!"

"Please don't, its not going to change anything."

"Fine. I can't believe I'm going to encourage this, but you can always reject this prick."

"I just need to get away from here, I just want to curl in my bed and forget everything."

"Ariana, you're really not supposed to leave until the assembly is over, but I'll see if I can get Rosa to get your information."

"Thanks so much, I just want to go back to the apartment and be left alone."

"Alright go back and take a relaxing bath in Rosa bathroom, I know she won't mind that you do."

"I'm so jealous of the girl that will have you for a mate."

He kisses my forehead and then walked into the building.
