                        (Ariana POV)

I can't believe that's it been already five years since my mother died and left us. I have always been so close to her but now it's just me, my brother Casmir, and my father. As I hurry to get breakfast on the table my father walked in and straight to the coffee maker. I can tell there's something on his mind just by the way he's acting.

"Dad, is there something wrong?"

He stopped for a moment before pouring the coffee into his mug. He then turns to me as if he were trying to think before he talks to me.

"There is something I need to talk to you and your brother about at breakfast."

"Is everything alright?"

He sighs as he sits down at the table with his coffee in hand but says nothing more to me.

"Well, I'm making you both eggs, bacon, and some hash browns for breakfast."

"What about yourself hon?"

"I'll be having some yogurt and some granola. I'm not really that hungry this morning."

"You need to eat more than that sweetie."

"I'm fine father. It's my job to take care of you and Casmir for mom."

"Hey little sister is breakfast almost done?"

My brother finally walks into the kitchen still wearing just sweat pant with an annoying smirk on his face. He looks like he just woke up with his hair still in a mess from rolling out of bed.

"Little sister? You do remember that I'm older than you, right?"

"No, you're my little sister."

He comes up to me and pats my head reminding me about him being 6 "4" and I'm 5 "6" for calling me his little sister.

"You keep that up and your more than welcome to make your own breakfast."

"Come on little I mean my favorite sister. You know I love you."

"You mean that you love my cooking."

"Well maybe but it's your fault that your cooking is so great."

"Alright you two, can we please sit down and eat cause I really need to talk to you both."

"What's going on Dad? Your not acting like yourself lately."

"You know I've been trying to find a job so we can keep this place and for you two to stay in school. Well sadly I still haven't found a job and now the money in the bank account is almost down to nothing."

"Dad, Casmir and I can always get a job to help you out."

"No! You and your brother needs to finish school than after that hopefully go to college. The reason I'm bringing this up is that I just got off the phone with my brother from Blood stone pack and he's more than happy to take us into the pack."

"Dad, Casmir and I have never lived in a pack before. I'm not even sure how we are supposed to act. What kind of rules that they're going to have living in a pack?"

"Also, father don't our uncle need to get the permission from the Alpha for us to even move into his pack?"

"Casmir, Ariana can you both please calm down. Everything has been taken care of. All I need is for the both of you two to pack up your clothes and any other thing you need to take with you. I'd like this done by tomorrow night."

"Why so soon father?"

Now Casmir looks really upset at our dads words. He has finally got this girl name Anna to go out with him and now he's going to have to leave her behind to move out of state.

"Casmir, I'm sorry but there is nothing I can do. If I don't take this opportunity to move in with your uncle, we won't have anywhere to live cause I won't be able to pay next months rent. I don't even have the money to go out to get us anymore food for the house after this week. Ariana, I know you been cutting back on your food intake and no, don't try to convince me that you need to diet."

Yeah, my dad is right that I been skipping a meal here and there to try and save on buying more groceries for the house. I knew that money was getting tight, but I didn't think it was that bad that dad wouldn't be able to even pay rent or any important bills.

"So, can you both please understand that I don't have any choice but for us to move in with your uncles pack. I won't have to worry about rent, food, or even money to send you guys to a private school."

I looked over to Casmir and knew he was thinking the same thing that I am thinking that we both need to do this for our father. He has always been there to take care of us and putting our needs before his own. At the same time, it does raise more questions about who uncle is to the pack that we be welcome into with no questions. Should I ask him this or just keep it to myself for now and wait for my father to tell us.

"Alright father lets do this. I guess living in a pack won't be that bad but again what about the Alpha of this pack?"

"Son you don't have to worry about the Alpha. My brother, your uncle is the Alpha to the Blood stone pack."

"What are you talking about father? Why haven't Ariana or I was ever told about this before today?"

"Your mother and I were waiting till both of you were at age before we talk to either about your uncle or his pack. Sadly, since of your mother death I was force to move back to the pack that I was never planning on going back too."

"Why is that father?"

"Sadly, my brother and I don't get along since he took over the pack."

I have a feeling there is more to that story, but it seems that my dad wasn't going to talk more about it to us currently.

"Well, I guess that Casimir and I are in."

"Thanks, you guys. Your not going to regret this and maybe the both of you will be able to find your mates there in a pack."

Me find my mate. I'm not sure if I really want to think about looking or having a mate. I wasn't brought up as those wolves are in a pack. So, I have idea how to even act around other wolfs, but my mom have spoken to us about mate as what humans would call soulmates. That the moon goddess choices each of our mates herself, but I still think that's a little far fetch myself for to do something like that. After the talk with dad, I decide to go start packing right away and not wait till the last minute.

"Dad, what about the dishes you bought mom for her last birthday?"

"There will be some pack members sent here to pack up all those things for us, so all you need to do is pack up your clothes and personal items. So, please have all your stuff packed by the morning if you guys can."

"Alright dad, I'll get on it as soon as I wash the dishes after breakfast."

"And what about you Casmir?"

"Alright father, but first I need to talk to a few friends to say goodbye to them if you don't mind?"

"Like Anna?"

"Yes Ariana, like Anna. I know she is only human, but I do care about her."

"I know right now Casmir that your not going to believe me but as soon as you find your true mate that you will be happy again."

"Whatever you say father. I'm going now and I won't be back to later tonight."

Casmir than left without saying another word or even a second glance at our dad. I know he isn't happy about us moving out and into a pack that neither of us had ever been in. I know how my brother feels about Anna, but I don't think she feels the same. I think she likes him only because he's extremely popular at school unlike me. My brother Casmir is the star player of our football team, well it does help that he's a werewolf playing against humans. It also doesn't hurt that my brother is about 6-foot-tall, medium brown hair, blue eyes, and tan skin with tattoos on both arms. Something the girls would call drop dead good looking. For me being only 5"6", silver hair, silver eyes and very pale skin. You can say that I never fit in with the humans for the felt I was a freak, especially the female human. As my brother took off my dads look, I look like my mom. I hurry up to my room after the dishes were done to start getting my clothes packed up. I also made sure that I got any jewelry that my mom got me and all my bathroom stuff. When I finally got done with the packing, I decide it be the best time to start making dinner. I decide to make Salisbury steak to cheer my brother up since it was one of his favorite meals.
