Chapter seven
(Ariana POV)
I really don't remember the rest of that day because it went by so fast, too fast for my liking. None of us felt like cooking so we all order takeout food. My brother is busy with Maddie setting up their in-living area. I would have loved to talk to Casmir about this mate thing but knowing him to track this guy down and kill him for hurting me. It hurts because my brother and I never kept anything from each other, now I feel things are changing between us. I decide a quick shower and off too bed I go. I shut down my mind to anyone trying to link me, I just want to be left alone. I'm not sure how long a slept before I hear my door opening, like who the hell would dare to wake me up without getting hurt.
"What the hell sis? Why did you shut me out when I was trying to tell you good night? Are you mad at me?"
