ANNE’S POV

I was sitting on the counter in the kitchen, keeping Lydia company and helping with things that I could. I blushed whenever I remembered what transpired between Cam and I in this same space weeks ago.

To think that it has been almost a month now and the memory was still fresh in my mind.

"Anne, are you okay?" Lydia asked, with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"What?! No, nothing is wrong?" I said as I tried to get myself together.

"You sure? Your whole face looks so red." She was teasing me. I just knew it.

"Lydia stop it." I squirmed in the stool I was sitting on causing her to laugh softly.

"Or did you get any action from the Alphas?" She chirped in, winking her eyes mischievously.

"Lydia!" I exclaimed, giggling a little.

When I informed her that I was mated to the three alphas shortly after I told Nic. She wasn't as surprised as I expected her to be.

She wasn't awed. She told me we were not the first to go through this. I was so curious to know more that i had to ask h

THIRD PERSON’S POVEvery where was in chaos. The three Alphas were barking out orders at the medical staff. Nic had mindlinked them immediately Anne was shot. Carson almost went into shock when he heard that Anne had been shot. It felt like what happened the night that their parents died was about to take place again. All the pack members that were around were in awe to see the Alphas panicking over a female. She was pushed into the hospital beside the pack house. The doctors had been told to stay on standby. "She's losing a lot of blood!" One nurse shouted."Get her blood, Test and check if there is sample for her." One of the doctors said. Anne could hear some of their conversations as she was drifting in and out of consciousness. One of the nurses turned towards the Alphas.“Please step outside so that we can do our jobs.” She said."Don't fucking tell us what to do. That's our mate there, lying almost dead!" Cam said, obviously forming with anger. The nurse was taken aback

ANNE’S POVMy head was banging. There was ringing in my ears. I felt like the whole world weighed on my body causing me to groan internally. What the fuck happened to me? I was conscious, but I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes. My fingers clutched onto the edge of the sheets tightly. Gathering up all the strength I had within me, I forcefully tore my eyes apart. The brightness of the room hitting me with full force causing me to shut them as quickly as I could. The act sending another sharp pain to my brain."Anne….Anne. Are you awake?" I heard Cam's voice.Cam?He was with me?What happened to me? I tried opening my eyes the second time and I squinted until I could fairly adjust to the lighting of the room. My throat was patched. I needed to drink some water. I wanted to sit up but he didn't allow me."Hey, hey. Calm down." He said."Wa…wa..water." I croaked out. I watched him with intensity as he took a jug from the bed side and poured some water into the cup. Whole I st

But I did pray. I prayed to her over and over again to save Anne, cause if anything happened to her, I would not be able to live with the guilt. After Emily had brought her back to life which was still a surprise to me and everyone else. The doctors said everything was normal. Her pulse, oxygen level, hear rate, everything was very normal. And color had returned back to her skin. She didn't wake up though. We were all in despair. I knew that Nicole was blaming herself for what happened to her. I could see it in her eyes, each time our eyes met. I wanted to comfort her, but I couldn't. I couldn't bring myself to do

ANNE’S POVIt has been two weeks since I woke up and I was back to my normal self. There wasn't particularly any changes in me except for the fact that I felt more sensitive. Especially towards my mates. I could hear things from far distance and my sight was better than before. Something happened to me after that accident but I could not figure out what it was. I felt like they were hiding something from me though. My mates and Nic. There was something that happened that they were not telling me. I have pestered Nic over and over and she told me I was just in over my head and that no one was hiding anything from me. After a while I didn't bother asking her again. These past weeks had been so cool to me. I was pampered by my mates and everyone around me well except for Carson. He had not said anything to me or visited me again since the first time I woke up.I had tried to have a word with him but he seemed to always stay away. He was just like how Cam was when we first met. Distant

CARSON’S POVI felt calm. My body was relaxed and my mind was at rest. This had never happened to me since I could remember. I was awake but my body didn't want to move from the position it was. I tried to remember what happened that made me sleep on my bed because I hardly do. As I willed my eyes to open, I looked around the room and there was no one there. That was when it came rushing to me. Earlier this morning. Anne was here even though her scent already faded out. She made me sleep. I checked the alarm clock on my bedside and the time was one in the afternoon. What? Opening the curtains, I was hit back by how bright it was. This had never happened. I don't normally sleep this late. I never slept in. The most hours I've slept is three hours at a stretch. I was always the first to get up in the house. How did she do it? I didn't wake up from any nightmares and a pounding headache. I ran my palms down my face and sat back on my bed. I thought about what the wolf killed the day b

UNKNOWN’S POVI hated every one of them. The Alphas. The three of them got on my nerves. Behaving like they were more than they were. They were nothing without me. This kingdom would have fallen long ago if it wasn’t for me. They would have been defeated long ago if it wasn't for me. But they didn't recognize me. They didn't recognize my efforts. CADEL’S POVThings had been getting out of hand recently. I had to stay away from the hospital for a while to take care of the packing business with my brothers. I felt weird about the fact that we had a betrayer among us. My mind was not even pointing at anyone in particular. We didn't have many people who were close to us regarding pack matters. We'd always kept it mostly between us three and if it was very important, we involved Lucas. Even as a beta, Lucas doesn't know most things, he only knew basic stuff. That was all. And I knew for a fact that he would not betray us. He'd sworn his alliance and been our only close friend for a long time now. His father had been such a cool person towards my brothers and me. He helped us when we got confused about pack matters. The alpha's summit was in a few days and I was a little bit scared of what might happen. Cause there was no doubt that something was going to happen. My brothers and I had planned that I was the one that was going to

ANNE’S POVWe all sat at the dining table. All of us. Cadel, Cam, Carson, Nicole and I. It was the night before the guys went to the summit they were to attend. We had never had dinner together before, which made this awkward. The big dining room aided the deafening silence that went on. Only the sounds of clattering cutlery could be heard. I was sitting opposite the guys while Nic sat beside me. No one sat at the table head.I was kind of conscious of myself because this is the closest I think I've been with the three of them at once.Nicole suddenly broke the silence, running her palms together,"So, brothers, when did you say you will be coming back?" She asked looking at the three of them at the same time. "In the next three days," Cadel said. That seemed like a long time to me. I didn't say anything though. I didn't want to seem like a weakling in front of them. The three of them haven't warmed up to the idea of me yet. Carson still stays away. He only came to me sometimes whe

CAMERON’S POVI shot out my hand just in time to catch Cadel’s arm as he lunged toward Dexter, his expression a storm of fury. I knew my brother was itching to confront the arrogant wolf about that infuriating wink—a gesture that felt both flirtatious and downright threatening. We might possess the strength of titans, but we were still outsiders in this pack. Guests who the true Alpha of Black Moon had handed an ultimatum. They didn’t need us now; if anything, our goodwill had come back to haunt us.“Let it go, bro,” I urged, pulling him back as we watched Dexter revel in his victory, the embodiment of arrogance. I could almost feel Anna’s horror radiating from the balcony as he stomped on Marcus’s blood, a grotesque display of dominance.“We have to keep an eye on that bastard,” Cadel muttered through clenched teeth. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in league with the Brothers of Vengeance.”“Yeah, but we need to get the hell out of this godforsaken place,” I countered, trying to red

Cadel’s povThe sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the training grounds as the pack gathered for the duel. The atmosphere was tense, a palpable mix of anticipation and anxiety. Whispers echoed among the pack members, speculation swirling about the candidates for the Alpha position and what this duel might reveal about the pack's future.I stood beside Carson and Cameron, watching the scene unfold before us, the weight of the tragedy of previous days pressing heavily on our shoulders. “We need to stay vigilant,” I murmured, scanning the faces in the crowd. “If the Brothers of Vengeance intend on following through with their plans, they will likely have spies around, watching us closely.”“Agreed,” Carson replied, his jaw set in determination. “We must keep our eyes peeled.” Soon, the competitors entered the arena, and a hush fell over the crowd. Dexter strode in confidently, his posture radiating arrogance and experience. The other candidate, an elder named Marcus

Anna’s PovI was a hundred percent certain that the writing in the leather-bound notebook did not belong to Bryan. After all, we had been mates before Cecilia brought the chaos. I could almost swear that the handwriting was hers. But what use would that information be now that she was gone? I knew I couldn't take back my earlier statement.“It doesn’t belong to Bryan?” Cadel furrowed his brows, confusion etching his features. “We found it among his belongings.”“Think carefully, love,” Cameron said gently, approaching me and placing his hands on my shoulders. “Are you absolutely sure the writing isn’t his?”“I swear on my life,” I replied, resolute in my claim, which earned an amused chuckle from Carson.“There’s no need to swear on your life, darling. Let’s first see what we can find regarding the contacts in the book before we worry about who it originally belonged to.” Carson gently took the notebook from my hand and returned it to the table.Just then, Nicole knocked and slipped i

  • The triplet alpha's rejected mate    Uprising

104-CARSON’S POVThe council was summoned, and the elders gathered, their faces etched with annoyance at being pulled from their slumber. Some appeared barely interested in what my brothers and I had to convey, while others looked outright skeptical. Bryan’s recent feral episode had cast a shadow on his reputation in their eyes. Yet, the harsh truth had to be revealed.“Your Alpha is dead,” Cadel’s voice sliced through the murmurs, ringing out like a clarion call before the elders could even settle into their seats. His proclamation was met with a crushing silence, a stillness that hung in the air like a prelude to an impending storm. The weight of unanswered questions enveloped us, and I could feel the accusatory glares from the older wolves directed toward us.“What do you mean by dead?” one elder roared, rising angrily to his feet. “He was just alive a few hours ago! He was practically in the arms of your mate! You and your brothers took him to his room, and now you tell us he’s d

Cameron’s POVAs Cadel rushed from Bryan’s room, he collided with Carson and Lucas, who were hurrying to find the source of the disturbance.“What’s going on,?, You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Carson attempted a joke, hoping to lighten the atmosphere taut with dread. But Cadel remained silent, his face pallor and grave as he clutched the bloody death threat he'd snatched from the feathered arrow. His hand quivered slightly, the horrific image of Bryan’s lifeless body replaying mercilessly in his mind.“Cadel?” Lucas stepped closer; concern etched deeply across his brow. “What’s wrong with Bryan?”“He’s dead,” Cadel replied, the words flat and devoid of emotion, his eyes distant.“What do you mean dead? He should be sleeping!” The disbelief in Lucas’s voice echoed in the hallway as he moved around Cadel, urgency etched on his face. Carson followed closely behind, the tension thickening the air around us. Moments later, they emerged from the room, their expressions mirroring Cadel'

    - CADEL’S POVI despise disloyalty. I can’t stand insubordination. Traitors are a scourge in my eyes. Yet nothing weighs heavier on my heart than witnessing the sadness of my mate. I hate it when tears flow down her cheek. Every challenge to my authority enrages me, but the sight of Anna in pain cuts deeper than anything else. I was resolute in my decision to end Bryan’s life for daring to touch her, to punish him for his unforgivable actions. However, her tears and desperate pleas doused the flames of my thirst for revenge. Anna's compassion continues to astound me, reminding me of the power of love and the strength it takes to choose empathy over anger. My brothers and I found ourselves on the first floor of the packhouse, watching Bryan pour his heart out in Anna’s embrace. A flicker of jealousy stirred within me, but I quickly reminded myself that he was utterly broken and in need of the comfort only Anna could provide—a solace that none of us could offer.“So, what’s the plan now

Every instinct I possessed surged to the forefront, igniting a fire in my veins—a primal need to protect her. I didn’t hesitate; without a second thought, I raced up the stairs, my feet pounding against the wooden steps that echoed my urgency.“Carson! Anna's POV:Inside the Alpha quarters, in the confines of the large living room, only three of us remained: Nicole, Lucas, and me. We hoped those who went after Cecilia's killer would return any moment, having faced little challenge in capturing him. But we were wrong. A primal roar shattered the silence around us twice. Nicole stood up abruptly. “That must be Bryan.”I joined her. “He's calling for his pack.”“What could have possibly gone wrong?” Lucas asked as he rose too."Let's go after them!" I declared.Lucas nodded, and we left the house, heading towards the forest. As we went after Bryan and the others, more pack members joined us, all responding to the Alpha's call. As we reached the edge of the forest, the scene before us made my blood run cold. Bodies lay strewn across the ground, the metallic scent of blood mixing with the earthy smell of the forest. The moon cast an eerie light over the carnage, illuminating the torn remains and the still forms of bodies.Nicole gaspe
