Chapter Seventy Four

Towards midnight, Naevia stepped out of the bedroom, after successfully placing her drunken husband in bed.

She couldn't leave him right there on the cold ground, and with bottles close to him. He could get injured or sick from the freezing ground.

During these few days of silence and malice towards Zane, Naevia still had much care for him. But her anger and hatred towards her father prompt her to pass them on to Zane. Since they were both in cohort, before her marriage to him.

But hearing him speak in his unconscious and drunken state, Naevia felt sad and had no choice but to forgive her husband.

She placed herself in his shoe and imagined herself doing everything Zane had done, just to keep the one he loves.
