Dance through the pain

"Lisa doesn't do this. Not now my sister deserves to have a drama-free day. I know you don't like her. "

" Oh please wake the fuck up she doesn't like me and so does your sister... They like her. "

She pointed at Sienna who looked visibly upset.

" She's their friend. "

"People don't buy friends. You sold your soul to the devil that is Sienna's father the second you accepted his offer to buy you out. He doesn't want you near his daughter and I can see Why. "

Apollo looked at Sienna and she looked back at him. Her eyes gave her away but he needed to verify.

" Is this true, who the hell are you, what are you? Are you even human? "

Sienna couldn't answer Apollo what Apollo had just asked and said hit home. Sienna lifted her hands in surrender. The last sentence that Apollo said to her made her flashback to the time she got attacked by one of her father's employees for standing up for Apollo because he was new.

She didn't tell Apollo what led to the attack he only came to Sienna's rescue when the guy was throttling her saying those exact words.

" I can't do this not now. You just triggered me. I need to go. "

The moment she turned around she placed her hands on her neck because she felt like she couldn't breathe. She started feeling nauseous and the moment she walked back inside the grand hall she headed to the lady's room as fast as her legs could carry her. Gemma had been keeping an eye on her and excused herself. The venue wasn't that packed it was only friends and family. As soon as she made it to the lady's room she called out to Sienna ;

" Sienna are you okay ?"

She heard the toilet being flushed and the door opening. As soon as Sienna walked out she washed her hands and face. She reached into her bag and took out a makeup cleanser and wiped the makeup off her face and tied her hair up into a ballerina bun.

She looked at Gemma and cried

" I'm sorry I can't stay long. I will dance with your brother and then I'll leave."

" Hey did you just have a panic attack? "

She nodded and swatted the tears from her face she took a deep breath trying to make sense of what had just happened. She wanted to be the one to tell him what she did.

" Lisa just told your brother everything and now he's angry. We are due for brunch tomorrow so I will see you tomorrow for brunch just need to be alone and I just need to call it a day. I'm sorry I wanted to stay longer. "

Gemma hugged Sienna and pulled back to look at her. She was still shaking and she was in no state to be alone as soon as she slung her bag over they both heard a knock on the door.

" Gemma I know you're in there is Sienna with you I need to talk to her. "

Sienna looked at her best friend and shook her head. Gemma nodded in understanding.

"She doesn't want to talk to you. Can you for once just please stop spoiling things. Go back to Garrett and if you are thinking of drinking don't ."

Sienna looked at Gemma confused and at the door again. Gemma lifted her index finger indicating to her that she needed a moment. She opened the door and stepped out.

Apollo's eyes went wide when he looked at his sister.

" What are you talking about? "

" Your girlfriend doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut, and during my Bachelorette party, she let it slip that you have familiar friends. "

" My drinking is under control "

" Keep it that way I will see you at the table go now ... Before I tell the MC to remove you from what's left of the program. "

" I'm your brother. "

" Then act like it Pollo just for a couple of hours before you go drink like a fish. You know; I don't know who I'm looking at right now. Go while I sort out the mess you made ."

As soon as Appolo left Gemma went back into the lady's room and when she looked up she did a double-take. Sienna had done her makeup again and instead of the contouring, she went for light makeup with red-stained lips.

" Gemma; you are my best friend and truth be told you only get married once, you deserve to remember this day as a special day, and for years to come, I want you to remember that you had the best day of your life. "

"Are you okay with dancing with my brother?"

Sienna nodded her head and took a deep breath before she spoke

" If it means that I have to dance through the pain I'm feeling, I will do that for you ."

Gemma hugged Sienna they both walked out and back into where the reception and sat next to Apollo as if nothing had happened. Appolo tried to hold her hand but she took it back

" Don't touch me. "

" I'm sorry for what I said, I didn't mean it "

" You meant every word don't sugar coat anything."

"I value our friendship. The relationship I have with you mean the world to me ,and I need to thank you for standing up for me because I didn't know the truth that you came to my defense when one of the guys was against being promoted. I have a problem which I am getting help for but all I'm saying right now is thank you for being but I my side all these years and for supporting me."

Before Sienna could speak the MC spoke getting everyone's attention Apollo hadn't noticed that Sienna has changed her whole look until they both stood in to go join Gemma and Garrett on the dance floor. He thought he was in love with Sienna before, but as soon as the music started playing and he held her closer his world for a moment seemed perfect in every way.

He for a moment imagined what it would be like for him to be with Sienna, but he was brought down to earth by the thought of how he was different from Sienna and how they could never be together... Sienna, on the other hand,was mad at Apollo but she still had strong feelings for him and although she tried to play it cool she knew that if she let her guard down she'd be risking a lot, she didn't want to risk it all for Apollo even though she knew deep down that he was the one who knew how to make her feel feelings she kept under lock and key.

As soon as the song ended she pulled away and looked at Apollo who was surprised when she created distance between them. He held her gently by the wrist and pulled her closer, he then leaned down to whisper in her ear ;

" Sienna please stay a little while longer."

"No . Goodbye Appolo. "

She gave him a hug and a peck on the cheek and pulled away from him. She looked over at Garrett and Gemma dancing and she blew them both a kiss and left.

Apollo was left alone on the dance floor and he didn't want to dance with anybody else. Sienna had already texted her driver and she was headed out and a car was waiting for her outside. As soon as she went inside the car and closed the door when she looked up she saw someone running towards the car.

She looked away and told her driver to drive her home she was not feeling well.

Apollo didn't realize the magnitude of his mistake until he saw the car drive away. He had the chance to fix his mistake but he didn't take it ,and now he thought that it might be too late.

He wasn't going to see Sienna as often as he wanted to and since he was opening his own company , he couldn't imagine starting a new journey without his number one supporter Sienna.
