CHAPTER TWO

I finally left the school premises a few hours later, it was quite dark. I was already addicted to the dark as Mr. Gregory and I usually spent a lot of time together, especially teaching me in class after school every day and training me in the gym.

The competition I was preparing for was mind-blowing, something that consisted of both physical and mental reasoning.

We spent the earlier part of the afternoon going over mission plans, playing games, and gisting.

I had Complicated schemes and schedules either to win or save, the game had two outcomes, I saved them, or we all perished.

In the gym, I sweated profusely and probably stank where a girl shouldn't stink, but this was how it usually ended.

I needed to be at my best if I wanted to pass. My luck has finally run out, I skipped In my walking my ears trying to cipher whose voice I just heard. For a second I looked at a log of wood in front of me, contemplating if I should make a run for it, I was a good runner.

My body flew high over the log of wood as I landed on the ground with my elbows, I felt a sharp pain shooting across my chest and my ankles. I heard footsteps as Jeffrey got closer to where I fell, he got down on my back and growled as he subdued me.

I could see his eyes change from blue to red and back again, losing control, Fear gripped me. The hierarchy in every country of the world was the same, we had royal wolves born of true Alphas and Omegas, then Betas that had only true Alphas blood or true omegas blood, never both.

Then at the lowest were half Betas who were descendants of the children of Betas only on one side. The level of wolves was a truly confusing concept and even I got confused at times.

I tried pulling him away from me but he held me too tight. I could even hear my backbone snap as my face cap fell off. As he pulled his hand from my body, he was trying to shove my eyeball back into my skull.

My body was dragged on the ground by Jeffrey's friends into a crowded corner at the tea shop close to school.

"Jeffrey….stop….stop" I tried saying. I knew I couldn't mutter a loud word, I pleaded with them but they paid no attention to what I was saying. All they wanted to do was to accomplish their mission.

I was panting faster like a running deer as I couldn't keep my eyes fixed and opened because I was feeling dizzy, likely to faint. "What am I gonna do with you?" He asked as he came low towards me forcing his hands into my shirt.

They were still all dressed in the clothes they wore to school today. And probably they didn't go home after closing from school, they've been smoking, drinking, and tracking me all day long.

"You should give me the same piece of shit you have been giving to our teacher" I don't understand why you can't give me the same, as he sounded entitled to my body. I managed to pull myself up as I rolled to lean on the wall.

The wall I relaxed on, served as a point of comfort while I was still at war with these miserable fellows.

Don't come close to me, Jeffrey. "You don't want to do that to yourself I warned" they all burst into laughter, probably thinking I was flattering them.

They didn't know why I stayed away from people, crowded areas, and even my classmates, why I chose a lonely existence instead of having fun with my peers.

There was a reason I wanted them to leave me, but they couldn't let me leave, they were going to find out why.

"Look at this brainless idiot" as he threw a mud brick at my head, I took my handkerchief from my pocket and wiped the blood off my face, seeing the blood on my face fed the wolf in me more than your body can.

So I am going to mess you up and take pictures of you, something the school will like to see in the assembly ground tomorrow, beg me to end you before we are done, you are surely going to regret this.

I needed to do something that the conscience of my actions won't plague me after deciding. "I understand there is something you want I said, we can agree".

You never agreed when we tried talking about it, "wow things are getting more interesting he said". Since you want to be sincere with this agreement, he laughed as he signals his friends.

"Spread her legs and make them free. I love them when they fight back. As he pulled his zip down I struggled and pushed him away.

I felt fingers and claws around My thigh, I tried struggling more, not wanting my pants to be pulled down. It finally registered to me that it was particularly cold that evening.

I Was nothing compared to their strength, and the fact that they were calling their wolves to the surface.

My eyes began to change and I saw a twinkling flash before my eyes, I called into my wolf, something I had only done once.

"Take her far away and hide her, find a sorcerer, and put a controversy in her mind. We must prevent anyone from seeing her"

"I am afraid…. "

"Don't be. I'ill meet with you again once it's time. Now take her and run as fast as you can".

It was the only memory I could remember from my past, something I never knew was still in me, but It came rushing down at that instance, and then I turned into a fierce beast.

I will think back to that evening and weep bitterly, I would remember Jeffrey on top of me, withering away into the evening cold.
