Pov Emily.

I woke up to the sunlight streaming through the window, expecting to feel a body beside me, but to my surprise, there was a large emptiness in the bed and in my heart. He was gone, after everything that happened. I was on the verge of exploding just thinking about how I could pretend to love him, or believe him, when this feeling was true.

My father did something terrible to Tyler's mother, something I wasn't guilty of because I didn't commit that mistake. But what would happen when Tyler finds my parents? He would definitely kill them, and could I live next to the man responsible for my parents' death? Because, deep down, the love he feels for me, or pretends to feel, will never be greater than his desire for revenge.
