48: A hard talk

And now I am standing here. I like this town to be honest. It is nice here, and it feels almost like being home, being here again. I have missed it, no doubt, I realised when I met Twigs, I miss my friends from there, but only my friends. This town has something special.
I walk down to the small boat harbour and the promenade by the lake. The last time I was here I had tried to take my own life. I guess I kinda am today too, I just don’y have to do it myself.
What am I going to say ?

*Luca* A bit outside town we turn down a smaller dirt road. It disappears in between some trees and we can’t see the farm that is hidden behind them. “This should be the right address, so lets go see”. Twigs is driving as fast as his old car is capable off. When we come around a corner an impressive farm and a courtyard comes into view. A man shows up from behind one of the houses. *Luca*There is a cacophony of noise as people start shouting suggestions for fights they want to see. I look around, watching the other fighters. A couple of them are about my size. The boss, who is apparently the champion, is even bigger than me.“What about you form a line girls ? And I will happily kiss you one at a time”. The boss laughs condescendingly.“I am ready, old man”. *Luca*People are slapping my shoulder and telling me how great I am doing as I flee past them to get outside. I keep my eyes lowered, fearing they might change colour in the middle of thing, walking as fast as I dare until I can feel that I am alone.When I stop I realise that I am out in the middle of a field.
