Racing Beat

Rose expected in another three minute at most before the men who had been surrounding her would try to either break down the door or the glass to capture her.

She only have three more minutes inside the carriage where it is the safest before she had to fend for her own life. Rose heard from outside screaming and yelling that suddenly appear.

She raised her eyebrows, pulling herself together and watched her trembling hands that tried to opened the curtain. The fire from the oil lamp inside the carriage was left a single one as the other four had been extinguished.

She used the dim light to help her look on outside, only to be startled by splatter of red that hits the glass. She shrieked, hearing a thud at the same time and she could make out it was the sound of a person's body that had been thrown to the carriage door.
