Want 5

KRYSIE pursed her lips while glaring at her notebook. She should be in Carson's room by now, but she has still this unfinished assignment that will be checked tomorrow.

“What kind of magic should I use to balance this shit?” she muttered.

Since they arrived home, she focused to finished her assignment early. But things didn't go on her way because she thought that her assignment would be easy as a freaking pie!

She picked her pen and started analyzing the problem again. Well, she almost memorizes the problem. There must be something wrong with her comprehension of the problem and she's starting to get frustrated.

The door opened, but Krysie didn't bother lifter her gaze. She's busy analyzing, people. Entertaining disturbances won't help her with her assignments. She's also shy to ask her classmates through g****e mail because that would be so pathetic.

“Hey, baby.”

She bit the head of her pen and turned to look at the person who called her. “Hey, Kuya.”

It was Carson who entered her room. Wearing a black jersey short matched with a gray shirt. He's just wearing a slipper and he looks so cute with his eyeglasses on.

He walked near her and looked at what she was doing. “So you didn't come to my room just to solve this assignment of yours.”

“Yeah.” She nodded shyly. “Submission is tomorrow. I've already read the problem almost a hundred times but can't still balance this one.”

She heard him chuckled and his fingers played with the tips of her hair. “I've already arranged everything inside my room. Leave that for tomorrow.”

Krysie pouted; her fingers start spinning the pen. “I haven't showered yet.”

A gasp escape from her mouth her Carson pulled her up and pulled her waist causing her to crash against his hard body. She pursed her lips when she felt her heart reacted.

“Go to shower now. Let me take care of your assignments,” he said.

She immediately shook her head and forced herself not to mind how close their distance are. “How can I learn if you'll be the one to answer it? Teach me instead.”

Krysie saw how he lifted his lips to form a smile and nodded his head. “Sure.”

She carefully took a step back and Carson immediately pulled his arms off of her waist. He nodded his head, telling her to go shower which Krysie immediately agreed.

She took a quick shower and changed inside her bathroom. She's now wearing a spaghetti night-green satin nightgown. Krysie blow-dried her hair and let it fall to cover her shoulders.

She glanced at herself in the mirror before she decided to go out. Her happy smile fades when there's no Carson to be seen in her room. Maybe he went to his room already.

Krysie lifted her wrist to see the time and yawned. It's past nine and they already finished their dinner. It was still the same as her first dine, tho. But Hunter didn't bother to speak nor glance at her. She was like a wind.

She picked up her notebook and pen before going out of her room. She's slightly bothered with her night-gown that's length reaches just above her knees.

“Kuya?” She knocked on his door and it immediately opened. “Hey...”

Carson opened the door wider to invite her in. She smiled at him walked inside his room, only to see how cool and relaxing the room's interior is.

“WHAT are we going to watch?” she asked him and settled herself on the couch. “But before that, teach me how to balance this thing first.”

A chuckle made its way out of his lips. She looks so adorable and fucking sexy at the same time with her nightgown. Her hair that fell just below her shoulders which made her look like a goddess.

He walked towards where she at and settled himself beside her. Her alluring and sweet scent lingered on his nose and like a drug, he suddenly felt addicted.

“I'm honestly not good in balancing, but Elias and Hunter are,” he said and picked up the paper where the problem was written. “But I'm good in comprehension.”

“I'm not good in both comprehension and balancing, heck,” she muttered and it reached his ear.

He stilled after hearing her cussed. “You curse?”

She looked at him and her electric blue eyes stunned him once again. “Of course. I'm not a saint not to curse, Kuya.”

That made him curious. He'd been containing some questions inside him and maybe this is the perfect time to ask it out loud. And besides, there's only the both of them.

“I'm curious, how did you survived the years without your parents?” he asked. “It's fine if you don't answer my question.”

He saw her looked away and a sad smile appeared on her lips.

“To be honest, I don't know.” She shrugged and looked at him. “I just got into many works, got fired many times, and slept on an empty and dark road because I was kicked out from my apartments.”

He suddenly felt mad after hearing her story. How could they kicked her out like an animal and let her sleep on dangerous roads? What if something happened to her?

“I'm glad you accepted your mother's offer,” he said instead of asking who the hell are those apartment owners that kicked her out and sue them one by one.

She chuckled and her voice sounds like a melody to his ears. “Yeah. Life was so hard to me. But maybe, I should be thankful about that.”

He raised his brow. “What's worth thanking for? You lived your life the hard way before.”

“That's what I'm thanking for. I thank life for letting me experience living the hard side of life. I learned to deal with people, and I also learned to be wise in every situation. And you know what? I even beat someone because he tried to touch me,” she said smiling.

That made him amazed. By the looks of her, it's hard to believe that she has beaten someone.

“Anyways, Kuya. Let's answer this. I'm excited to watch the movie!” she exclaimed that made him chuckled.

And that's what he did. He taught her how the problems should be understood. Carson can't help himself not to glance at her innocent face and red, cute, and plump lips while talking.

“This is easy as a pie, baby.”

She scoffed. “Easy my ass.”

And again, he was stunned. He never thought that she would cussed like that. Her voice is so very angelic for her to spit some foul words.

“I WANT to watch Mulan,” she smiled happily.

She felt relieved after they finished her assignment. Carson served her the popcorns and asked her what to watch.

He played the film she requested that made her smile. She admits that she felt a little bit awkward because she knew they'll going to cuddle while watching the movie. Heck, she doesn't know what to do during a cuddle! She even forgot to search it on g****e.

“So...” He walked towards her. A gasped escape from her lips and when he suddenly lifted her like a light paper and settled her on his lap. “Let's cuddle so you'll make it up to me on not following my orders.”

Red stained her cheeks. She felt embarrassed about her position right now. Carson's leaning against the headboard of his bed. She's leaning on his hard chest and his arms wrapped around her waist.

It's weird but comfortable. So this is what cuddle is like? She can feel his breathing on her head and his fingers are making a circular motion on her tummy, and it's tickling her.

“Are you not comfortable?” he asked.

Her eyes were still fixed on the television as she shook her head. “No.”

She felt him tightening his embrace. “You should get used to cuddling with me. We'll do this every night.”

What he said made her lift her gaze at him. “Every night?”

He nodded and kissed her forehead. “Yes. Every night. I'll spoil you with cuddles and hugs.”

She never thought that Carson would be this welcoming. He is the only person who accepted her except for her mom.

Her brain flashed back to her last encounter with Elias. She's still affected by that. She's hurt by his behavior towards her.

“Cat got your tongue?”

She blinked her eyes to wake herself in reality. She looked at his blue ocean eyes. Her hands held his arms and she smiled.

“Thank you for making me feel at home, Kuya.”

CARSON watched her getting too focused on what they are watching. She really looks cute. If only her legs and cleavage didn't show that much, he would be also focused on the movie. But damn, her legs and cleavage are damn very visible from his sight right now.

“Oh my gosh!” she exclaimed in surprise because of the movie.

He can't help himself but take a gulp when the hem of her nightgown rises and she seemed unbothered about it.

Carson forced himself to watch the movie. He should stop whatever the fuck he is thinking towards Krysie. She's his stepsister for Pete's sake! She's too innocent and fragile for a person like him who's hiding a lot of vices.

“Kuya...” She yawned, and hell knows it sounds like a moan to him. “I'm sleepy.”

“You can sleep in here,” he said in a hoarse voice.

He's turned on. I just hope she won't notice the bulge between my thighs.

Krysie shook her head. “I sleep like a helicopter. I might kick you out of the bed.”

He tried to persuade her to sleep beside him. He can't get enough with her soft and delicate skin. And even her scent. Damn, he's sure as hell he'll be going to hug the pillow Krysie was hugging while watching the movie a while ago. It would probably smell like her.

“Goodnight, Kuya.”

Carson still when he felt her lips touched his cheeks. He badly wants to turn his head to capture her lips but he decided not to. It was a very very very hard self-control.

“Goodnight, baby.” He kissed her forehead and watched her bringing her notebook and pen as she walked out of the room.

Carson blow a loud breath and took off his jersey short. He felt it tightening. And tonight, guess he has no other choice but to be with his hands...for the first time.

KRYSIE woke up around 2 am because she's feeling thirsty. She pulled off the heavy duvet that's covering her body.

Her feet searched for her sleeper and the moment she found it, she immediately stood and head out of the room. She didn't bother bringing flashlights with her. She's used to the dark. What she wasn't used to were thunder and lightning.

Krysie went downstairs and head towards the kitchen. She didn't open the lights, she just went to the counter and reached for a glass and a pitcher full of water.

After drinking, she decided on making milk that's why she searched for their heater to heat water and opened the cabinet to look for milk. Maybe a glass of milk will help her go back to sleep.

She wandered her eyes around. The mansion is so quiet. It feels like she is the only one who's awake at the moment. Even the maids weren't around. Of course, it's 2 am.

When the heater started making noises, Krysie immediately picked it up and unplugged it from the electric socket. She turned around to face the counter when someone spoke making her jolt in surprise and the heater fell off from her hand.

“Who are you?”

Krysie let out a silent groaned when she absentmindedly caught the heater to avoid it upon falling on the ground. The water from that object runs to her bare hands. She placed the heater abruptly on the table and that's when the lights turn on.

“Krysie.” It was Elias.

She lifted her gaze at him. Krysie bit her lip while feeling her hand that she think was burned by the boiling water.

Elias saw her hand and he immediately attended to her. She saw him loosened his necktie and held her hand. His blank emotions remain the same.

“What the fuck are you thinking?” he asked in a very cold manner.

She chewed her lips while looking at her hand. A gasp made its way out from her lips when he suddenly held her waist and lift her to sit on the counter. He reached for her hand and checked it.

Oh, she forgot. Elias is a doctor.

“You had a first-degree burn,” he said.

Is this how he talked to his patients? She stares at him preparing a wet piece towel. He went back to her and reached for her hand.

Krysie felt like her breathing stopped when he lifted her hand near his lips to carefully blow some wind to lessen the pain. She doesn't know how to react. She thought that Elias was heartless just like Hunter, but here he is.

She watched how his thick brows formed into a straight line while he's wiping her hand carefully like he's afraid he might scratch her hand.

“Don't go around the house without the lights on. I thought you were a thief,” he said in a monotone.

Krysie looked away when he lifts his gaze on hers, that's when she finally realized how awkward their situation is. Elias was situated between her parted legs and she could feel his breathing that's fanning on her revealed chest.

Damn nightgown. I regret wearing you now.

The hem of her gown rises and the strap glides down her shoulders. Maybe Elias realized their position, too for he immediately let go of her hand and took a step back.

“Go to sleep,” was all he said before storming out of the kitchen.

She immediately held her chest and took a deep breath. I forgot to breathe. His aura is very intimidating, and she thinks she really can't go back to sleep anymore.

She carefully climbed off the counter and cleaned the mess she made. She's not in the mood to drink milk because of what happened. She can also feel that pain in her hand.

After cleaning the kitchen, she heads out and walked upstairs to go back to her room. Maybe she can find some ointment there to lessen the pain in her hand. It's just a first-degree burn, but hell it still hurts!

Before she could turn the knob on her door, she heard someone spoke.

“Brat,” a voice said.

She turned her head to look at Elias. He's also looking at her with a stoic face. Did he just called me brat? “M-me?”

He walked towards her and handed her a rectangular-shaped small box, enough for her to guess it's an ointment. “Stop doing stupid shits around.”

Elias turned his back and was about to go upstairs when she called him, “Kuya Elias...”

He halted but didn't turn to look at her. “What?”

A smile lifted Krysie's lips. “Thank you.”

I still have a chance! She screamed inside her head.

Elias wasn't that heartless after all.
