The annoying continuous nudge I felt on my legs woke me up. I don’t know how long I slept, but it’s short enough to make everything aggravating. The sore muscles I got from the uncomfortable bed only added to it. Although, the cold temperature cooled my temper down. I shivered a little, but the cloak Jayce gave me kept me warm.

Now that I think about it, my captor’s blanket was thin and with holes. I looked at him as he folded the said blanket and placed it on top of the crate. He did not shiver or showed any signs that he’s cold. It's he’s either used to it or he’s good at hiding his feelings. Either way, I feel bad about it.

I forced myself and pull my grudge and weight up to stand and followed him out of the room. It only took a short while to gather me before I became completely functional. It only took a reminder of my current situation to wake myself up fully.
