Chapter Forty

entered Aria's room. I caught him looking out the window, which was shining in the sun.

"Aria." I called him. He turned to me and then smiled. I approached him and then kissed him on the forehead. "How are you?" I asked him as I scanned him. My IV was attached to his right arm and he was wearing a hospital gown.

"I'm not really fine." And then he sat down, I was about to hand him a tissue in case he covered his mouth and bottom with his hand He saw a lot of blood on me. I took a breath and handed him the tissue.

"I'll call the Doctor." I was about to press the emergency button at the head of his bed when he shook his head at me.

"But-"

"No need sissy. I can still do it, just listen to me because I want to tell you." I was about to protest when he coughed again and like before, my blood came out again, but he repeatedly shook his head at me and motioned me to sit down. I sigh in surrender.

"Don't worry about this be quick." His weak voice was a sign that he was also weak,
