Dinner with my family

"Good evening mum, good evening dad." I greet my parents as I walked into their sitting room. 

I am Jason had visited his parents yesterday evening and today, we decide to visit my own parents.

When I called my parents this morning, and told them.. that I would be getting married soon, they didn't sound to happy.. or worked up, that their first daughter just got engage. 

They only wanted to know if the guy is handsome and has money.

I'm pretty sure if it was my sister Julia, they would have been much more worked up and really happy.. they would have stood by the door to welcome her in, with her fiancee, and see who the guy is. But my parents decided not to do that, they waited in the sitting room and they don't really even care much about who this guy I'm getting married is, or what he looks like.
