Wedding talks

(Juliet’s POV)

It was so surprising when I suddenly heard a group of people said ‘congratulations’ at the same time behind me, and clapping towards us. I withdrew my lips from Jason’s, trying to see who they were. They were my family. Julia, Alice and Judah too were among them. I saw Eric’s face twitching with delight. I figured out he understood what was going on even if he was just a little kid.

“I’m happy for you, Juliet.” Alice said, wrapping her hands around me. I did the same, too, patting my best friend in the back as she started wishing me good luck and prayers. It would be an understatement to say that everything that happened here today, and that was going to happen in the future, regarding my happiness with my family, was all because of Alice. She was a friend that stood by me through my thick and thin. Even I didn’t know how well I could thank Alice. But, I started it simple first.
